Wish you well Manlord, I know how much faith and cash you have put into this over the years from your helpful correspondence on this board.
From being under water for so long I have been so tempted to take a very healthy win but this one really could be a life changer so I top sliced 10% and I'm coming on the journey with you haha.
Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
Petch
I think the boards are quiet as a lot of us have been here for many years and have been under water for the majority of it. Granted when we invested this was a very different company and now under new leadership and discoveries it looks a completely different beast ! My first shares here were 4.6p but the majority were around 1p ! I only have what is regarded as a small investment but with an average of 2.4p this is finally looking like it could make some difference to me if the next RNS is what we all hope. Really pleased for Manlord and the others in here long term that finally might be seeing the gamble pay off.
on we go is right ML. The next leg up in SP and some steady support will hopefully set us up ready for more positive news on the recent potential copper discovery. Maybe you were right..... this could be the year ! :-)
Seems to be a bright start to the year since lunchtime, some healthy looking interest on top of some recent chunky buys that came to light a day or two after they were dealt. This company has always looked like its full of potential on paper but just didn't get traction with interest in the market or the key finds until this potential Copper discovery . Been in this since 4.5p and as low as 0.8p so still a paper loss but here's hoping some good fortune for the many that have been here for the long haul :-)
I would say the sellers don't see this as bottom prices. Many of them may have jumped in at 0.85p or higher so have made significant gains and now the wave of interest and hype has gone they take their profit and run. Well done to them too. Some of us have been here years though and are nowhere near breakeven so will wait this out and hopefully this new copper 'giant' will bring profit to the long-term holders.
I just ended my love affair with EVE too Wyndrum at 0.7p. An investor for many years and we have communicated a little throughout. Began buying in at 6p years ago, averaged down at sub 1p and then finally made profit when it shot up when CBD oil and CC was all the rage. Shame this turnaround story fizzled out so sadly. Appreciated your input over the years, always found it informative and balanced. May fall across you on these boards again if we cross paths on a share.
Go well !
The price of recovered fibre is also increasing much quicker over the past few weeks which will add to MikeM14's list of woes. Although DS have managed to get increases on finished goods across Europe I'm unsure they can currently keep up with these sudden spikes in cost and maintain such healthy margins. However I have full confidence in them being able to weather it and I'm personal happy to add more at this price.
Me too, sitting on an average of 2.8p and started accumulating at 4p a few years back. The potential around this company back then was endless but just never materialized. Hopefully this new swath of hype based on nothing other than perhaps now the business is more reasonably valued and someone made noise about wanting to invest 100k brings profit for the new investors that have jumped in at 0.95-1.4p and we can finally get some positive news on drill results etc. I hope this could be the start of a revival for me and a bagger for others.
Welcome aboard new investors, its been a bumpy road in the past but you may have jumped on at the right time :-)
Big chunk just swept up way above the ask at the time. Flurry coming in now all for the sake of a 16k buy. All very nice during a so called quite period :-) Are we just assuming this is buyers positioning for the upcoming PPC/ATOME project ?
Inchpo, I can see your frustrated with this share calling it hopeless. I think you should have looked back into the previous years before taking the tip to invest. The 2p's and 1p that you refer too have been.... and have been here in recent times. A lot on this board were underwater and took the decision to average down at those low levels.
This share is not a get rich quick venture imo. Its been a slow turn around since CC took the helm, tightened EVE's belt and then slowly grew the products and brand. Its come a long way since those days but for a company that is yet to make a profit the bluster and increases in SP have mainly spiked before TU's and then subsequently trickled back down but to healthier levels than before. The CBD oil link also spiked the price when investors were getting a thumper in the whole market over anything that ushered the three letters C B D. It's one product license as part of the sleep range and imo is not going to set the world alight for holders here.
For a LTH i think you will see returns here as we get closer to profit, france expands and the product base is improved. If you want to be rich by November i think you may have bet on the wrong horse.
That seems to happen once a week now, MM's see a bit of inactivity so have a little shift backwards to stoke some interest. I only took another £300 worth but I'm sure in the past week or two this was nearly 8% by lunch and by end of play it was back level.
Agree that we aren't seeing the big pre TU push up on SP that we usually see. I think this time investors more wary that this is already priced for another really solid but currently not quite profitable update. I'm thinking the next TU after this might be the one that really gives us a leg up towards high single digits that LTH have been hanging around for.
I'd be delighted to see the P word on Friday though !
Best part of 500,000 shares hoovered up across the day in 25k,50k and 100k orders. Nice to see a little blue on the board, i keep averaging down when I can too but single figures was starting to worry me. Suppose its an obvious thing to say but news can turn us around very quickly. The potential this company has is well worth the gamble for me.
I am hoping that the market and current buyers are not expecting mind blowing figures on this TU. CC has been good at setting moderate targets and then exceeding them (i'm not knocking this strategy, CC has turned this around from a disaster zone). Unless this is another 'rabbit out of the hat' TU I expect us to be eating into the cash pile but showing good sales in the UK and a good amount of growth in the French market. Hopefully getting us in position for profit by 2022 like CC stated will bring a healthier share price in 12 months time. I'm happy to wait, we could be on to a good thing holding for a year or 2.
Wyn & D-German - always very insightful. Appreciate the details you put on the board. :-)
Dalt, I think nearly all of todays transactions are buys except the 10.2 mid morning. We just need a bit of momentum to get us moving. Hopefully your purchase will bear some fruit for you soon, if i had the funds i would be joining you at the level :)
I just threw another £250 at it which brings the average down a touch, hardly setting the world alight but it adds to my position. Its shown as a sell which makes me feel better that others may be buys too !! I'm hoping you are right Jonny, plenty watching this from the side waiting for some sentiment and then we may start to see some action.
ask now up to 4.5p and being paid ! this share always seems to price up towards a TU and then slips off when it announces. All good for me as a LTH.
Couldn't agree more Stu. We seem to get good news of contracts etc but there is rarely any detail to what the deal is or whether its actually worth shouting about ! Optimistic here but when no numbers are attached i get a little worried its all bluster
