Very little doubt in my mind now about what the main thrust of the General Meeting will be about following today's announcement to enlist Finncap as the company's joint broker.
Finncap are specialists in raising capital for AIM trading companies. We all know that before West Newton cannot progress without much more investment in the operators Ratlin. They are not going to be able to raise the substantial sums needed on their own. Therefore, the major significant owner of Rathlin which is Reabold will have to find the funding. This is where Finncap steps in, to hopefully find additional funding to add to the diverted promised dividend. Whether the remaining money owed by Shell (due by year end) will hold up the drilling programme at W.N should form a part of the 'discussion'. Let's remember some of the equipment for the drill will be on long lead times; will the company be more than vague about a timescale for West Newton, and will they stick to it? Past experiences tell us not.
This play is not short or even medium term. In my view years will elapse between each stage.
Patience in abundance will be required before many earlier investors can even hope to break even, myself being one of them with my last buy at 0.4p.

It is well known in company business circles that the best day of the week for directors to call a General Meeting of shareholders to discuss contentious matters is a Friday, and then preferably not in the morning. This gives the company directors a 'breathing space' of the weekend to hope investors have other more pressing matters on their minds............

Looks like the 'dividend' monies will be diverted to keep Rathlin afloat. However, much more will be needed as the drilling will be into the teens of millions. Nothing happening this year is a very good bet in my opinion. Delay and obfuscation is the order of the day (year) here. Anyone thinking otherwise is deluded.

On RNS dated 29/9/22 RPSV Energy with reference to West Newton PEDL183 stated under the key highlight section this 'it supports the joint partners results of Conceptual Development Plan'.
In the Investors Presentation dated 22/11/22 the following was stated ' Conceptual Development Plan now underway, first Development Well drill expected H1 2023'.
Question 1. How can the RESULTS of the Conceptual Development Plan in September be released when according to the Investors Presentation 2 months later be 'now underway'?
Question 2. In the discussion with Zac Mir on February 1st 2023 (last week) in early discussion on Traders Cafe with Sachin Oza (joint CEO of RBD) he announced ' (we are) working for rest of year towards drilling B2 well, scheduled for later this year'.
That mention of rest of year plan includes H2 2023 and not H1 2023 appears to contradict RBD's Investors Presentation in November 2022. Is there an obvious inconsistency here?
N.B. Reabold's Accounting years end on 31st December; H1 ends on 30th June.
