Regarding West Newton we all have to have patience.
We know that from the drilling rig arriving on site the maximum time allowable there is 12 weeks. That is part of the agreement with East Yorkshire county council.
We also know that if the drill is successful then many more months of awaiting new planning applications, permits, way leaves over lands from the site of drill to the nearest gas reception holding unit (approximately 5 kilometres away will be required. This will inevitably include public consultations and likely objections, maybe handed over to the Secretary of State. Personally would see the eventual outcome as being positive for RBD. The point I am trying to make is that this will all take many months, and as to what bearing this will have on the s.p meantime is any ones guess. But until these hurdles I have just outlined have been overcome then most prospective buyers will 'hold their fire'. Patience is the watch word with West Newton. We are not dealing with California and Trumps relaxation of drilling laws here in the U.K. This is not a share for the get rich quick merchants to be in.

artyth....Re Ratlin, if not already I would check up at Companies House about them. In particular the last set of accounts published, the auditor KPMG report and the Notes 1 & 2. Also the parent Company Connaught. Just saying as another poster says!!!!!

Uggy100...I did, I did not say for how long though. Why do you have a problem. I posted earlier in good faith about what I believed. A couple of bloggers who had different point of view just had to be nasty. I checked up on their history and found they were, shall we be polite and say amateurs. I was prepared to leave it with my last post, but NO they could not handle the truth, and had to go whimpering to the moderator to have my posts removed. Left wing non sporting types if you ask me. Chris...,we, still after 3 years cannot attain a altitude of 1000 feet where most radars become effective. If in my honest opinion the s.p does not cross 1p (reach exposure level) by the year end then RBD will crash and burn. It may after then for a considerable time provide the directors with a more than useful remuneration package, but as for us investors forget it. I know I will get shot down for this comment (greenhouse, marrows etc) but the 'jam tomorrow' must be replaced with 'jam today' over the next few months; I am getting tired of listening to the smooth talking of the two S's.

Tbf...Great research as always, not long to wait before roll out. personally not expecting any more news before then from Thruvision for the private investor. Of course the institutional investors are receiving updated news on a far more regular basis. I am quite comfortable with that arrangement as long as they remain in the company. It would appear that one of the major players used Thruvision shares as a part payment along with cash to buy out a smaller company; hence at first glance one could be forgiven for thinking they had sold some. 'Smoke and mirrors'. Just a transference in reality.

Tbf...I'm no software engineer but I agree with your assessment that it should be an easy problem to overcome. One would hope that any trial would be short in duration, and with no reason to believe that it would be any other than successful, volume should soon follow.

Jimmybob....It's not good news per se. It's only the timing that has been confirmed here. We knew already what was going to take place. Hopefully the good news will come when/if positive results are announced. Then the share price should alter dependent on the outcome.

Tbf...Excellent spot, and yes the redacted parts obviously relate to Thruvision. Once this software enhancement is made and is satisfactorily tested we should see the roll-out of the machines to US airports. The successful roll out would be no doubt copied at major airports across the world. The Thruvision manufacturing facility at Mnemonics in Virginia could soon accelerate production as and when required. I truly believe that this company has great potential, and remembering take overs are in the DNA of the CEO I look forward to following this company over the coming months, much more than any other I am invested in.
