clairesmith - the beauty of Boohoo is they don't expand too quickly, they have that one right too, Boohoo are excellent at not expanding too quickly, at paying next to nothing for failed brands and turning them into revenue of £100m within 2 years. Please do your homework properly.

clairesmith - H & M aren't interested in going after Boohoo. They have their own demographic and are very successful so no need for them to go after Boohoo.

Arcadia Group - In April 2019, it was reported that the Arcadia group, controlled by Philip Green's family, had recorded a £300m deficit into its pension fund, while the Green family had cashed out £1.2bn in dividends from Arcadia in 2005.

British MP Frank Field, who previously investigated the BHS pension deficit, has publicly criticised Philip Green for paying huge dividends to his family and friend Richard Caring "when things are going well", and making his employees pay "when things are not going well".

Philip Green won't be interested in trying to compete against Boohoo, it will cost him too much money.

Next are like H & M, they have their own demographic and are successful at what they do. They've no reason to go after Boohoo.

Primark owned by AB Foods have already stated it won't go online and it's sticking to shops.

ASOS - sell third party brands and don't make as much profit form their revenue as Boohoo do. ASOS have already risen and will be sticking to what they can do which is sell third party brands.

Research, research, research

clairesmith - they don't have the money to do it. Hence why Boohoo will win out because people wanting/needing cheaper clothes because of economic collapse. You need money and loads of money to go after boohoo. They have no money, they have huge debts, they are trying to survive at present. That's the bottom line.

clairesmith - Boohoo are looking to buy failed brands from Europe and the USA. They are looking to have an international distribution centre. They are automating their Sheffield warehouse and putting more automation into their Burnley warehouse. Sheffield and Burnley warehouses will give them revenue of £3.5bn. Their last revenue for year ending 29 February 2020 was £1.5bn. Their revenue for the first half of this financial year is nearly £900m. Boohoo are only starting. Boohoo have been going since 2014 and Primark haven't been able to touch them in 6 years. Boohoo are so ahead of the game that no-one can compete against them. Boohoo have no debt, £350m net cash and £150m working capital. Boohoo sell to 200 countries worldwide and growing. Boohoo will become a £20bn global revenue business, that is at least 13 times more revenue than the £1.5bn revenue from year ending 29 February 2020. Research, research, research.

clairesmith - you have no idea, have you. Boohoo bought Nasty Gal, a USA company out of administration for £20m and within two years turned it into £100m revenue. The reason the brands failed was down to their bricks and mortar, i.e. shops. That's what failed them and not their online sales. Boohoo only buy the websites and logos of failed brands. Oasis and Warehouse online sales were £50m before Boohoo bought them. Please do your homework properly.

clairesmith - Boohoo have grown on bringing instant fashion at an affordable price to those who can't afford to buy high fashion at high prices.

clairesmith - Boohoo Group have 9 brands, Boohoo, BoohooMan, Prettylittlething, Nasty Gal, Miss Pap, Karen Millen, Coast, Oasis, Warehouse. Boohoo is one brand of 9 brands. The most expensive item on Karen Millen is £1400. The demographic for Boohoo Group is 16 to 45 and beyond.

clairesmith - the CEO for Boohoo Group is John Lyttle who worked as Chief Operating Officer for Primark and also worked for Philip Green. I doubt very much if Philip Green will ever be able to match John Lyttle and the rest of the Board of Directors for Boohoo Group. I bought 360,000 shares in Boohoo in 2015 and have held them ever since through every up and down. I'm not interested in trading, been there, got the t shirt and worked out that the way to make the big money on shares was to find great growth shares like Boohoo, buy them and hold them for at least 10 years. Warren Buffett, the share billionaire, said never buy a share you wouldn't hold for 10 years. Boohoo is the only great growth share on the UK share market.

Estimate of the Intrinsic value price of a Boohoo Share.

1) 5 year EPS growth rate estimate from yahoo finance (analysis page) is 29.9% per year. From the balance sheet we can see that equity has grown from 85.5million in 2015 to 569 million in 2020. That is 46% per year compounded growth.

2) The 5yr historic PE from MSN Money price ratios is High of 70.86 and low of 37.69 is 52.7 average.

3) Current EPS (TTM) is 5.3p x growth rate 1.3 x 10 yrs = 69. Therefore the estimated EPS is 69p in 10yrs.

4) The earnings per share of 0.69 x the future PE of 52.7 gives a share value in 10 yrs of £35.88.

5) If you take 15% profits year on year from this sum you achieve a current fair price of £7.71

6) discount this by 50% for a margin of safety purchase price of £3.85. Basically you can buy this all the way up to £3.85 and still get a fantastic bargain.

I have run this calculation on a multitude of companies, and none meet the criteria. If you can find any companies with a solid history of exceptional trading like Boohoo that have lost substantial value through no real fault then please let me know of them.

clairesmith - Boohoo will be buying those brands from administration for next to nothing. Boohoo bought Oasis and Warehouse together for £5.2m. You need to do some proper research on Boohoo then you'll understand why it is a great growth share.

Buy up to £3.85 for a fantastic bargain, Boohoo share price will be £8 to £10 in two years according to Paul Scott and calculations show Boohoo share price will be at least £36 in 10 years.

From Paul Scott, Small Cap Value Report, Stockopedia - A few years ago they told me Boohoo could be a £5bn revenues business in the long term. Now they're talking £10bn, £20bn as possibilities. Hence why I'm inclined to keep buying, and to sit tight on them, almost irrespective of valuation. I've never looked at any share like that before, but this one justifies it, I reckon.
