Nikkei is down nearly 500 points.

FTSE 100 Futures have gone from green, going up, to red, going down.

There seems to be a lot of anxiety about US Banks.

I need to add that I am and will be only trading in Boohoo shares in the short term. I'm not buying Boohoo shares to hold.

scb - as t4g already knows I re-invested in Boohoo again recently. You'd found this out if you'd researched my posts properly.

scb - the cut and paste clown. I had to guess how much you'd paid for your Boohoo shares until I read and researched your posts and found out you paid 220p for your Boohoo shares. This is how we get things wrong when we don't do any research. This is how you get things wrong by not reading and researching all my posts and just picking out those which suit your agenda. Do your research properly and stop cutting and pasting posts that simply suit your agenda.

You see you bragged about making north of 250k on Lloyds Bank which you've probably put into Boohoo thinking you could do the same again. Oooops.

I think the reason why Asos and Boohoo share prices have dropped so low is because of the competition from Shein.

Yes, there have been headwinds.

For me, the biggest threat to Boohoo and Asos growing their sales in the future is Shein.

bb - Asos' lowest share price was in 2002 at about 3p and its highest was in 2018 at £75.

It took 16 years for Asos to grow from 3p in 2002 to £75 in 2018.

£75 is 2,500 times 3p, if I've got the maths right.

If not, I'm sure someone will let me know.

scb - there's no definite, that Boohoo will ever rise to 395p again.

Maybe another growth plan will have to be brought in, when the realisation is the Boohoo share price is not going to make 395p.

After all, this is the second growth plan for Boohoo, so there may well have to be a third growth plan. Who knows?

Things don't look good for next week. Who knows? I don't. You don't. Nobody does. All you can do is read and consider all educated and non educated guesses.

bb - Asos were much lower than 60p they were about 10p at their lowest and at their highest were nearly £75. If you'd got off your poo bum and research this then you'd know.

So I didn't buy ASos at the lowest and sell at the highest. However, it is all there in my past posts. I bought and sold my ASOS shares before joining this website, london south east. I have mentioned it in past posts on here.

I'm sure scb will find it for you, as he loves to copy and paste my past posts. You call these sort of people cut and paste clowns. Maybe you need to refer this statement to your new found friend scb.

Maybe you also need to let your poo go and realise we can learn from each other. It's not a competition. It's about learning from others. However, you need to open your mind to others and your poo too to be able to learn.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 345.22 points, or 1.07%, to 31,909.64, the S&P 500 lost 56.73 points, or 1.45%, to 3,861.59 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 199.47 points, or 1.76%, to 11,138.89.

European stocks slid to a seven-week low over uncertainty regarding rising interest rates, and looming worries over the health of the U.S. banking sector.

We'll see how the next week pans out for the UK Stock Market and for the Boohoo Share Price.

Ftse futures are down 200 points. Dow Jones closed down nearly 350 points. This doesn't look good.

Bb - Asos shares went from 60p to £60 and I held all the way. I bought at 60p and sold at £60. Sadly you didn't.

Boohoo shares looked like they had the potential to do the same and more. Sadly they didn't.

I didn't do the research required into the likes of Shein at that time. I've learnt my lesson.

t4g - it's important to keep researching when you've invested because things can change.

For me, it's about protecting your hard earned money.

t4g - my view is I don't know. You don't know. No-one knows. I need to research all this much more and so does everyone else.

Russ Mould, investment director at AJ Bell, explained that in a heavily interconnecting industry like banking it is ‘not so easy’ to compartmentalise these sorts of events, which ‘often hint at vulnerabilities in the wider system’.

‘Lots of banks hold large portfolios of bonds and rising interest rates make these less valuable. The SVB situation is a reminder that many institutions are sitting on large unrealised losses on their fixed-income holdings,’ he said.

There are macro events which may affect the UK and Boohoo too.
