Everyone's calculations can go awry at some point when it comes to investing in shares.

When we make huge gains, then we can get sloppy because we think we're invincible. This can often lead to huge losses.

The Boohoo share price is down because there is more selling than buying and you need to ask yourself why. The reason why is because Boohoo is no longer a growth business. It's not making a profit. It has a revolving credit facility of £325m. Its net assets are not worth more than the market cap. It has 18m customers so I can't see the IP being worth much.

By the way I warned people about buying Card Factory at 90p, it went down to 30p and has only recently got back to 90p. I warn people because I hate to see them lose their hard earned money.

I also warned people about Cine and look where that is now.

Massively Oversold is an indicator that there is more selling than buying.

Investors and institutional investors aren't interested in buying Boohoo, see the fundamentals as poor and don't see the US Distribtution Centre as being some sort of saviour for Boohoo.

ASOS have had a US Distribution Centre for years and it's not helping them now.

In the last trading update for ASOS sales revenue was down 14%.

Gas has gone up again, interest rates are going up again, inflation is sticky, wages are going up. These are expenses for people and for Boohoo too.

Boohoo's £325m revolving credit facility is to be repaid in 2025.

Figures don't look so good for usage, quality and loyalty.

I read recently about customers leaving ASOS and Boohoo because of quality.

The Kelso Group is listed, although its share price hasn't done too well.

I read somewhere a while back that Umar Kamani had bought shares in the Kelso Group.

Plus John Goold the CEO of Kelso Group was the CEO of Zeus Capital.

I think Zeus Capital were and are the Nominated Advise, NOMAD, for Boohoo.

Maybe that's how John Goold CEO of the Kelso Group became a Nob Executive Director NED for Boohoo.

If you buy a share and the share price goes down then you've got it wrong, so get out quickly with a small loss otherwise it'll turn into a huge loss. You can always get back in if things change.

If you buy a share and the share price goes up then you've got it right so tick with it or even buy more and watch it until it turns down say 7% from its highest price, then sell it and pocket your profits. Again, you can always get back in, if things change.

Yorek - funds use computerised trend systems for their longs, shorts on shares, commodities, forex, interest rates, etc., etc on global markets.

They design their own computerised trend systems and sometimes rule over what the system is showing.

Who knows why one fund increases and one fund decreases.

All funds lose money as well as making money.

No fund makes money 100% of the time.

Find a system that makes money for you by reading every investment book you can find, setting rules for yourself and sticking to these rules rigidly if they work. If they don't work figure out why they're not working, change and start again.

Ego

Investors will sit on a losing share rather than admit they're wrong because of their ego.

Investors will wait to get back to breakeven to sell their shares because of their ego.

Investors will blame anything and anyone for the share price going down rather than admit they were wrong because of their ego.

Let the ego go to make money on shares.

Cut your losses and run your profits to make money on shares.

Get out with a small loss and don't let it turn into a huge loss to make money on shares.

Scb - and you know why. Boohoo could have got there if the likes of Shein and Temu hadn't come along to undercut Boohoo's prices.

Boohoo was the cheapest in the world until Shein and Temu arrived.

This is what I mean about investors not understanding about investing in shares.

Things can change so quickly that you never even consider.

This happened to me so I try my best to help others who don't understand the huge risks of investing in shares to make sure they protect their hard earned money.

If you'd sold your Boohoo shares with a small loss after buying them at £2 each then you wouldn't be sitting on a huge loss now.

If you read this board consistently, then you'd realise how little investors know about investing in shares.

Uncrossing trade is an auction for shares at the end of the trading day.

Investors can get into these auctions through a broker.

This idea that there is a match for every seller during the day is nonsense.

If a share price is going down, then there's more selling and buyers have to be found for these shares at a price that buyers will buy the shares.

There will be people jumping in to buy shares going down thinking they've hit the bottom. Don't do this because you can lose money thinking this.

A share price can go much lower than you'd ever imagine.

Share prices go down much quicker than they ever go up.

Some of us are outside in the good weather and don't want people to lose their hard earned money by being mislead on this chatboard.

Look at the London Stock Exchange website for share trades, there are no buys or sells beside these.

If you don't believe that the London Stock Exchange doesn't allow recordingof share trades as buys or sells then email them.

Stop living in hope.

ASOS' Revenue went down 14% in its latest trading update. ASOS has to repay a £500m bond in 2025 so it's desperately cost cutting to get the money for this.

Norman Brown Group BWNG sees this downturn lasting right through 2024.

Oversold indicators means there are loads of sellers. Never buy a share on an oversold indicator because you can lose your hard earned money.

Boohoo has a revolving credit facility of £325m fully drawn down. This is an indicator that times ahead are bad for Boohoo too. A business has to look at how it's doing now, in the future, how much money it needs.

A £3235m revolving credit facility is an indicator that Boohoo know times are going to be hard until 2026 when this has to be paid back.

Look at everything for indicators of what's happening in a business, what problems they may be having.

Be extremely careful with your hard earned money before investing it in any shares.

Never dismiss the Boohoo share price going down more.

Always get out of shares when you have a small loss and don't let it turn into a huge loss.

There are no conspiracy theories, There are simply more sellers than buyers. Investors and Institutional Investors don't have the same faith or optimism about Boohoo that you have. This is obvious. There are more sellers than buyers.

This website has to guess whether a share trade is a buy or sell.

Furthermore, share trades may not be recorded at the time they are done. They may be a little delayed, a lot delayed or even more delayed.

Share trades must be done during the opening hours of the London Stock Exchange which are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4,30pm. However some trades don't get reported until after 4.30pm which makes them late reported trades.

Anyone can ask for their share trades to be reported late.
