I can't believe people buy shares without reading the RNS'. Crazy. It's all in there. I'm stating exactly what Boohoo have written in the RNS.

TheWatcher2022 - this is all in the final results for 2023. This is the problem you don't read it. Always read all RNS' in full and more than once.

In the final results for 2023, Boohoo stated returns are up more than pre-pandemic. This will also affect the gross profit margin.

Hex - Boohoo are putting anything they save on cotton and freight into reducing prices. You get something in one hand to be taken away by another hand.

Hex - Boohoo don't have to issue a profit warning unless it's significant. And it's up to Boohoo to determine what they see as significant or not.

So, never rely on profit warnings completely.

There has been no guidance on the profit margin at all. There has been guidance of EBITDA of 4% to 4.5%.

Profit margin is the most important figure for retailers like Boohoo.

Boohoo's profit margin for 2020 was 54%, 2022 went down to 52.5% and now it's 50.6% and likely to go lower.

Look what happened to the share price from 2020 to now. Boohoo share price was about £4 in 2020 and has been as low as about 30p.

Profit Margin affects the share price.

Lower profit margin means lower share price for Boohoo.

Boohoo's profit margin has eroded over the years from 55% to 50.6% and is likely to go lower with the price cuts needed now and in the future to get and maintain growth.

Retailers like Boohoo need a profit margin of at least 55% and preferably 65%

It looks like the traders have come in again looking to make a few pennies. This happens every time. The traders come in, make a few peniies and then sell. Share price goes down again.

You have read the Boohoo RNS Back to Growth Strategy. Why do you think they need a strategy to get back to growth? Obvious, their growth in all geographical regions has been decreasing since 2019.

To get and maintain growth Boohoo are going to have to cut their prices. This means little profit, even losses and low margins. This means a low share price too. Retailers like Boohoo need a gross profit margin of, I think it's about 55, to make money and grow their business. Otherwise, they're going to have to rely on a revolving credit facility for many more years to come.

Yes and trying to inform them and you if you'd open your mind to the huge problems Boohoo have.

Please don't waste my time and your own time with stupid questions?

Novice buyers are too easily sucked in by rampers.

Let's ignore reality and lose more money. Let's ramp this share and see if we can suck in more novice buyers.

Let's not do our homework at all and just believe Boohoo will go back up again.

You're the CEO of Boohoo. You've got the growth figures in front of you for all geographical regions from 2017.

You see the growth is decreasing from 2019 onwards and is now in negative growth territory. You know the negative growth territory is not a one off. You know you need to do something because growth has been decreasing since 2019. You realise it's competition taking your growth. And, competition at lower prices. So you know one way to get growth back is to lower your prices. Lower prices will mean little profit and low margins. It's the most important thing you have to do to get back growth.

It's not rocket science. It's obvious.

You do know about the next trading update. Boohoo have given their guidance for 10% to 15% decline in revenue for H1 2024 which runs from 1 March to 31 August 2023.

Boohoo have given their guidance for the full year of 1 March 2023 to 28 February 2024 of revenue being flat to 5% decline.

The shorters actually read the RNS and guidance and hence why they're still here.

Boohoo's revenue by their geographical regions has been decreasing since 2019.

Boohoo is going to have to cuts its prices substantially to get growth in the future.

This means very little profit and low margins.

Boohoo is no longer the growth share it was and may never be again.

the problem is holders live in fantasy land thinking Boohoo will be a great growth share again, it won't.

Guidance from Boohoo of 10% to 15% decline in revenue for H1 2024 tells the shorters a great deal.
