The last update was not as awkwardly couched as previous ones and thankfully the SP has not tanked. The lack of insider buying suggests that they are not that confident of where the business is heading and will I fear be a reason for the SP to stay low.

Let's hope ALT do get an update out this week and finally use language and numbers that gives proper information to the market. Anything other than a large loss should reassure every holder as we know the promo business was shut for most of the reporting period. If results are better than I fear we should see 40p in a short period.

Anyone here got an explanation of why ALTs results are so late. How does Covid delay accounts or management numbers with everything now capable of being carried out online.

I suspect the rise was down to a few share buys by Martin Valley and Simon Taylor effectively the two largest shareholders. The company is due to update before month end so it might be that they see progress being made on the business despite CV 19 issues.

Until the US promo market gets back to some sort of normality ALT will not be able to give any forward guidance. The current state of the company with no debt is helpful for it to survive the CV19 crisis which seemingly will last for a fair portion of 21.
The disconnect in valuations between ALT and its peer PEBB is interesting and the longer it lasts the more it must make ALR holders worried.
Maybe it is just 'roll on 22' for ALT holders.

20p seems to be an easy target in the near term. Any update confirming business is returning to normal will see the SP going a lot higher.

Be good to see a few insiders buying as it might be a sign that they will not need funding to get through the CV19 period. With the US election done things may pick up there especially with a vaccine on the horizon.

The SP is really priced for this to be going bust and it must make any holder worried as the financial PR has been so awful for a long time. News which doesn't confirm that ALT is not burning cash will bring this sub 10p and maybe lower.

The month end is near so we should have some news from ALT in the next day or so. I expect at best another PR non event although the BOD have shown themselves fairly inept in dealing with the market in recent times.

Still looks likely to drift lower for the near term.

Looks like it will take a while before this purchase is in the black. The SP has been taken down on a relatively small quantity of sells and large holders seem to be adding so this could move up quickly in a short time.

Seems like there is a bit of speculative buying before the update. The volume is still small so it doesn't really mean a lot. The company has a hill to climb in PR terms and for any recovery in the SP needs to address this through results and decent presentation. As a holder I am well down but still hopeful that the business model is working albeit with issues arising from CV19.

I hope for all holders the update that is due will be a clear announcement of where we are and how the company sees the future as the SP has been somewhat hammered after previous updates which were being kind 'badly worded'.
Lets hope the US economy is recovering from CV19 effects as ALT is now totally focused there after the recent sale of its UK print business. I think the US will bounce back faster than the UK especially with the coming election and this should help ALT's business which still needs to prove itself resilient.

The results show the business can make a decent return in normal times. The coming recession will test the model and hopefully it will survive as a leaner operation and still profitable.

Dont know what leaked but this is a dangerous share to short with a very small free float.

Chelverton have bought more see the RNS

Chelverton has added and the way the company is held the holding of PIs must be getting low. Any good news going forward could give the SP an exaggerated lift.
Looking for a few good quarters for ALT before the effects of the last hiccup will be erased.

RNS was well received by the market and I wonder if TW will rush to write another piece after it for all his followers.
Looks fairly hopeful for the outlook in 2020 to me.

Results out on Monday and it may give some clarity as to how ALT will perform in the near future. Risky share to short as fairly tightly held.
