Another great piece of business IMHO, GLA
This transaction values HGT's investment in GGW at approximately £93.8 million. This would represent an uplift of £27.0 million (40% or 5.9 pence per share) over the carrying value of £66.8 million in the Net Asset Value ("NAV") of HGT at 30 September 2023.
Note that these figures only relate to HgCapital Trust's share of Hg's overall investment in GGW.
Based on the 30 September 2023 reported NAV, the pro-forma NAV of the Trust is expected to be £2.3 billion (or 498.5 pence per share). HGT's available liquid resources, which includes the undrawn bank facility of £350 million for future deployment (including all announced transactions and the interim dividend paid in October) are estimated to be £760 million (33% of the pro-forma 30 September 2023 NAV).
Just on the e60M NAV valuation, what did Loyalward pay for the site?
Once we know that we can add inflation calcs from 1998 was it?
Largest private estate in the Eastern Mediterranean set in the Cavo Sidero 25 sq km Peninsula
It must have some value for goat grazing say 1K an acre and maybe 6000 Acres is 6 Million Euro?
Thanks so yeah 15% of 27.5 cents or thereabouts for the year.
With regards the PGM price going forward no one know but the cure for low commodity prices is low commodity prices (assuming there is still a demand). All THS need to do is still be standing in position to capitalise on the upturn.
Long term graph here goes back to 1993 lowest Platinum price $350 Aug99 drawing a line from there to 750 in Apr20 I'd say strong support not much lower than where we are today...

With "the dividend policy of distributing at least 15% of consolidated net profit after tax"
And lets say the headline EPS of USc27.5 FY23 can we work out approx consolidated net profit or do we wait to 14th?
Thinking this could be a buy on an income basis?
Available to buy today at 520.
I suppose the tender offers were to sell a part of the business, now that it is so small continuing would be uneconomical.
So probably will not get back NAV less 1% as liquidation costs and sell on of existing holdings may not be realised in full but I given the history here I trust the board to do the best for shareholders.
"To conduct an orderly realisation of its assets, to be effected in a manner that seeks to achieve a balance between maximising the value of the investments and progressively returning cash to Shareholders."
Yep thats nuts, I got the email and don't know anything about Bushveld and will just delete it, might have had a look at 2p
Is it like most AIM miners where there is large hole in the ground and engineers looking into it?
