Chris, as I said to Starvest, with admission of the first tranche of placing shares on Monday (which I believe are to allow someone to close out a position) the JORC RNS will either come near close of play Friday or first thing next Monday.
As Craig is completing it, VAST should have 100% control of its timing and release so if it's late it suggests internal communication is as vague as the comms to shareholders

Could be as straightforward as integrity of tailings dam, what happens to waste water from the mill/flotation tanks (I.e. is it safe to go into standard waste or does it need cleaning up first), background radiation re safety of workers ( i believe that part of the Apuseni has previously had uranium mines, so maybe workers need improved PPE or just monitoring, or with modern drives towards improved ESG maybe the bank wants some sort of energy consumption analysis

Re the JORC - couldn't agree more
No matter how competent Craig may or may not be, the fact that he is the one compiling the JORC rather than a competent independent with a reputation is the most worrying part of the RNS
If it turns out we fall foul of the due diligence by Swiss Toni based on the JORC, AP will have no place to hide - and we all know his address in Romania!
If we do get the finance, maybe its genius cos it will save cash but I had asked previously who was compiling it - remember at one point SRK where meant to have been involved - what happened there?

As I posted last week, Mercuria are just the middleman, the port delivery is just the first stage of concentrate transport to whoever is actually doing the refining - so add the processing time and probably 30 day terms, before VAST receives the revenue

The only upside if you want to find one, is that without the placing the next Atlas conversion would have been done at a 90% VWAP, most likley causing more shares to be issued relative to the cash amount

I asked this after the last placing and didn't get any answers - why the two admission dates?
The only reason I can think of, is that someone opened a short position, either directly or through a CFD when the price nudged .20, knowing they would be able to get more shares via Axis and that settlement terms for the first admission will allow them to close out the position.
Now if that's not trading on insider knowledge, I don't know what is

Don't just read the words, understand the motives. If the story is that bad it didn't stop one of the largest commodity traders in the world - Mercuria - when they were doing their due diligence did it

Ben I don't know for certain, but I think you've answered your own Q, re it's more efficient to ship one large batch rather than two smaller ones.
It is also likely to timed as to when the refiners want to take in their own production schedules, Mercuria don't make the final product, they just act in the middle

I don't know if it's as effective when it oxidizes (which happens quickly) but theres probably a lot of scientific papers out there which cover it

Back in my youth, used to work in bar that had a copper countertop- accidentally made it my job to polish the bloody thing once a week - looked great when done though

I posted earlier re the likely concentrate price ( based on Craig's tables in the 7th Septemeber and suggested that was probably based on a blended price of copper and zinc concentrates with gold and silver credits

However, this morning release and the corresponding articles only mention copper concentrate- which makes sense while they only have flotation tank running, but also means , logically, that the price achieved per tonne should be higher (minus TCs and RCs)
