Bugsy you are a diamond. That's exactly the info I've been looking for, for quite a while (Well actually was looking for the composition, rather than the calorific value)
It's a massive indicator of the Maykop being that consistent source rock and would fully justify Zaza's opinion about UD2 being a technical success.
If Schlumberger find very similar gas with their deep drill, then everybody will be heading to Georgia, drill bits whirring.
The other reason of course is that we haven't been told the gas composition coming from Zone 19. If the proportions were broadly similar, then it could indicate that there was a failed trap beneath the Eldari B that had then worked it's way up into the pay zone. Actually I think that's actually unlikely, due to the different geological age of the rock, but if it was so, then would sure be interested in that.
