Agree CF73, at this stage a full buyout won't happen imo, though the technical progress including the flow of mid-Miocene gas highlights the staggering potential of Block 12, I can't foresee a price tgat Zaza would agree is high enough that a super major (or 2) could justify to its shareholders, while the risk profile is still too high.
Personally, I think a partial farmout to drill up to 10 wells, including at least 1 of each in Basin Edge and MK and a deep Taribani well, for a 25% free carry would be a fantastic deal, with a first call option to move to a JV with greater scope
It would reduce the risk for the super major whilst giving them first mover advantage, increase our shorter term revenue, reduce our exposure as shareholder but still leave scope for a significant 're rating that would come as CPR resources would move to reserves.
I know some may think that is down playing FRR, but realistically any deal has to be seen as a win by both sides and I think something like the above would do just that
