The failure of NEX to fully embrace online trading was definitely NOT DL's fault!!!! At the time if all that so called 'noise' I made a number of approaches to HL. To ask how this was going. I received emails saying they were working towards this and testing systems etc. I assume DL would have received similar indications and it was not unreasonable for him to expect that NEX and the brokers etc would deliver. The fact firms like HL gave not is in no way DL's responsibility.

I totally agree Wolf that the interest in Australia looks very positive. I am just a little disappointed that this turned out not to be the case this morning (but in fairness it is very early days): ".... So that blows out of the water the theory that each market will open where the other closes, unless of course NEX is just being too slow and ineffeicient to realise what is going on (possible?)

Interesting. At the time of this post ASX showing DOR as Aus $ 0.54 / 0.59 (32p / 35p)

Objective? Hmmmm. Well objectively speaking I am pleased that Captain has finally seen the light and genuinely hope that his paper losses are recovered quickly. Also very pleased that positive wins!!

I should add that I really don't mind which day it is. Just encouraged by the fact that the BoD will have delivered on dual listing, raised a bit more money and yet sp has risen. The market does seem at last to be recognising potential value in little ol' DOR. Jolly good!

Does anyone know the market open times for ASX in UK time? If the Weald really kicks off I have a feeling some might have to reschedule their sleep time to cope with monitoring both markets!

Wolf taking into account the new shares on ASX 60p would give an m/c approaching �26 / 28 million. If oil is flowing commercially at both Lidsey and Brockham that seems perfectly reasonable, and could be much more in my opinion.

Glad I have a sense of humour. Checked the sp tonight (don't usually bother any more). Turns out that my �1,111 invested a few years ago is now worth ........ �13.76p If it goes much lower and I sell I would end up owing HL the balance of the trade charge. Hahaha.
