Hi all. On the subject of bulletin boards when PLE (previously AIM listed) were taken over by Regent Pacific (Hong Kong listed) LSE kept open the bb and it is still active today. I am not sure whether that came about as a result of requests from posters or the bb simply continued on. Either way there are obvious parallels here. It wouldn't do any harm for some of you to contact admin to ask for info about plans and request that the bb continues. My example above demonstrates a precedent.

I am with HL Goldenegg. With the other company I can only sell through HL, not buy. My holding here was smaller so decided to cut my losses and bail. Didn't want to but while I was on the phone the offer dropped from 11p to 9p (which I took) and was told the next mm was on 6p! Very disappointing.

I'm out. Decided to take 70% loss. Been in this position before. Another of my AIM stocks was taken over by HK listed company and only trades on that exchange, and through HL it will cost about �150 + or - to sell. I understand from HL that trading on ASX will involve similar or higher costs. Don't want to go down that road again. Will try to get money back elsewhere. Exactly right Bignose. To be honest I have stopped worrying about whether or not the management are competent etc. We are where we are and I now just patiently wait to see if I will ever get money back / make profit. That said I do really appreciate the contributions made by yourself, Pom and a few others. Surely 2018 must be the year?

Captain let me quite clear. My only interest hear is the price of my shares. For that price to go up we need new buyers. I have been told of two potential investors (friends of friend) who thought about DOR in 2017 but were put off by the negativity when they looked in on this bb. Therefore as I said on Monday if I read negativity here that in my opinion is unreasonable I will challenge it, whether written by you or anyone else. So if you write negatives I am quite likely to offer an alternative interpretation. I don't wish to offend but it is not about you. It is about me defending my investment. I can assure you I wish you no ill and hope we all get our money back and more, but I do believe shareholders can do a lot to help general market sentiment so I will continue to make my contribution.

Are you sitting down, Captain? I agree with you! Start producing, get an income. Then if appropriate consider acquisitions. My only concern is that if the Weald does start producing good numbers then the price of acquisitions may rise.

I see you are continuing with the childish stalking claim Captain. See it that way if you wish. However think on this. I have an investment in DOR. DOR has a bb which is generally quite quiet. Some of the few posts written are quite negative. I believe I have the right to defend my investment with what I consider to be realistic but positive comments. It is therefore inevitable Captain that if it is you making the negative comments it may well be me challenging them. But I am equally happy to challenge comments from others if I feel their comments warrant it. All I did last night was point out the other side of the DorD comment. That is particularly important in this case because the company (ANGS) seemed to be saying it wasn't true. I know you wouldn't like people to be misled so shouldn't you be thanking me for adding balance to your post?

Thanks Masterbaker. At least we now have some idea of ANGS' proposed path forward. In the short term at least that dominates DOR future. I hope ANGS are able to deliver on these targets. If so that should push DOR sp significantly higher if results are good. As always in the oil business patience required.

I would agree with that donone. However have you been reading the ANGS bb? Apparently there is a nodding donkey working at 4 or 5 strokes per minute. Various figures of production have been banded about. Apparently the minimum pump rate is 5L per stroke (could of course be more) and in fairness no one knows what is being pumped up. The point is that it is not unreasonable to assume that L2 is pumping some oil. As 30% of that belongs to DOR I would say that DLs comment is very relevant. Did I hear yesterday that Brent was trading around $70 / barrel? Of course I have no figures to play with so I am not going to speculate on what revenue might be accruing to DOR but at least it may be something! And I think it would also be fair to assume that DL knows far more about how much oil is being pumped, so I will take note of his comments, even if with a big pinch of salt.

At least he is trying to be positive. Perhaps people would prefer the complete silence from our partners? Best judge this company when we have production flow rates from HH Brockham and Lidsey. Anything else is surely way too premature?

I know this might seem like a radical idea to some but perhaps we need positive oil results for any meaningful sp movement (as I have been saying for some time!). And as DOR is not an operator we await that sort of news from ANGS / UKOG etc. Very frustrating but there it is.

Michael everyone is entitled to buy / sell whenever they wish and of course we are all able to have a change of mind at any point.
