Anyone who thinks this is just a technical retrace despite all the evidence presented really has demonstrated a total lack of understanding of what has gone on.

Troajan I also have several mining investments, mostly from 2013 / 2014 and they are junk.

And then I have my BMN investment. Bingo. Investment of a lifetime. Sorry that an experienced mining investor like yourself completely missed this wonderful opportunity last year and this year. Folks on this bb were shouting it out loud. Perhaps your radar is not as good as you think.

Nevermind. In my opinion this share has a long way to go so opportunity is still there. Take it or leave it but please don't complain later if you miss out once again.

I note you comment on WRES a lot. For comparison in Jan 2017 they 0.48p and today 0.545p. BMN Jan 2017 1.88p today 39.9p. I think the figures speak for themselves.

Do please come back in 12 months and we can swap notes.

Ps your article is 21 months old and of little relevance to the unusual market dynamics surrounding vanadium today. I won't even mention that Vametco costs are in SA Rand but receipts in US $. (Hint: benefits of a strong $) Oh and did I mention that around 50% of Vametco product goes to the US? A country where the demand for vanadium is likely to rise (VRFBs) but doesn't have its own primary sources.

This is my 6th BMN Christmas so out of curiosity I checked previous Christmas closing prices:

2013 / 5.16p
2014 / 2.53p
2015 / 3.11p
2016 / 1.61p
2017 / 8.50p
2018 / 39.90p

Like many other LTHs I had to wait several years for a good return but the wait was worth it. For those that bought in recently at higher than the current sp if you believe the fundamentals are good then hopefully patience will be well rewarded.

Those numbers illustrate what a fantastic two years shareholders have had. 2019 looks every bit as exciting.

The last couple of paragraphs were left off. However one important omission was the last phrase of the paragraph on dividends. I post it in full below:

"As previously mentioned, work to define a sustainable dividend policy and so add a dividend return to the capital growth proposition of Bushveld is ongoing and will be completed in Q1 2019."

There we have it ... no ifs or buts ... the dividend policy "... will be completed in Q1 2019."

In my opinion Q1 is starting to look like a very exciting period for the share price. We can expect Q4 Vanadium update which should present significantly higher Ebitda as a result of higher vanadium prices, and hopefully some indication of increased production as a result of Phase 2 expansion. Also a dividend policy announcement. Commissioning of the Eskom VRFB. Those are just known potential sp movers.

Large number of those sells are round numbers and several appear to be paired trades. Looks like very few pi's are stupid enough to give away their BMN shares. Bodes well for the start of 2019.

Expert its rank doesn't really matter. It is the revenue and profit from 10,000 mtV pa that will be amazing.

Great news about AIM 100. But then 2018 has seen BMN as one of the two best performing shares!

MIKINAMAN likewise. Plenty of Bushies in the village and all doing well with this investment. Going forward 2019 could be set to be the best year yet so can't rule out that summer party.

Troajan appreciate your comments about dollar movements.

However 10 - 15% shifts in the value of the dollar surely do not account for 178% (ish) growth in the mining sector since the real bottom at beginning of 2016.

Anyway the point is that vanadium has done exceptionally well over the last couple of years and seems set to continue on that path for the near to medium term. I'm very happy with that.

My target remains at 75p to £1.50, with the possibility of a significant revision upwards if Fortune is able to deliver on all elements of the business plan.

On a point of accuracy about mining sector.

Using the interactive graph on the Stock Exchange website the low point for the mining sector index was at beginning of 2016 (at just over 6,000). Today that sector stands at just over 17000. Up some 178% from the low point.

Of course the market dynamics for vanadium mean that the price of the commodity has set its own path over the last 18 months and that is to some extent reflected in the sp of BMN. I am aware that many of us believe the current m/c has some way to go to achieving proper value just on current Vametco production and vanadium price.

There is of course the potential for so much more to come from this exciting company.

Got to be in it to win it.

Earlier I asked a deliberately provocative question to flush out some proper debate arising from a rather loose label. I am very pleased with what I have read this afternoon from some of the LTHs. I thank all of you.

What I have noticed over the years, even among very experienced "visitors" to this bb (and not all of them have negative intentions) is an assumption that when a share price goes up a lot there will be the inevitable reverse move. It has always happened thus and so bound to with BMN. Yet they have all been wrong!!

Of course any BMN rise will pause or experience a small but temporary retrace, but sooner or later it moves on to the next level and I am confident that will soon happen again.

And apparently so does the very conservative SP Angel with their current forecast of 87p.

SP Angel broker forecast raised from 14.3p at start of 2018 to the current target of 87p

The significantly higher price of vanadium during H2 suggests that the H2 will show even better figures in my opinion.

The above list contains just some of what I consider to be the highlights from 2018. That is an incredible year for any company. No wonder BMN has provided some of the best returns on AIM for its shareholders in 2018.

In my opinion only a complete fool would bet against a similar success story through 2019 for BMN and the shareholders.

Perhaps the FCA won't pursue this but at least you have fought back.
