Confirmed for the doubters that BMN is a mining AND processing company. Puts that one to bed.

Also confirmed that 50% or more of product goes to the US.

Very illuminating on just how brilliant the strategy was to acquire Vametco.

Reaffirmed that the VRFB market has the potential to be 10 times the commodity market.

Loved the end:

"Can you give us 5 reasons for investing in BMN?"

Slight pause.

".... I've got 7."

Well done Fortune.

Anyway back to more important things than an individual pi's trading.

That was a good interview and confirms what many here believe. I particularly like the acknowledgement that Fortune was way ahead in his thinking. A message that I have often said here but nice to see it confirmed by professional commentators.

Well done for making your small profit. That is why we are all here. But there are consequences on the sp when shorters are about.

Doesn't alter what I just posted Daisan. Every pi sell no matter large or small helps the shorters.

My guess is that those trading this (and therefore helping to suppress the sp) won't be here proudly announcing any losses or lost opportunity due to a sudden upward movement in the sp.

Unless it then goes to 90p. Anyone would be pis*ed off with that.

St0wski just about every commentator on the vanadium sector believes the structural deficit in the vanadium market is set to continue and that the vanadium price will recover (there are some signs that that is already happening). There is nothing negative about that !

The big winners here are going to be those with foresight and patience, just as in 2017 and 2018.

Just my opinion of course.

Perhaps nothing that hard core BMN shareholders don't know but useful for newbies, potential new shareholders and settling nerves of those underwater.

"It's an interesting time for Bushveld because they have had such a strong run over the past several months. A little bit of a correction going on now really because as you say the vanadium prices have eased off a bit, but I think Bushveld on the whole is in a very very strong position. There's several reasons why I say that.

The first is that the grade at the Bushveld Vametco operation is very high. It's one of the highest grade operations in the vanadium sector anywhere in the world so that leaves it in very good stead. In a sense whether the vanadium price is strong or weak the margins are still going to be good, and the position of Bushveld in terms of which quartile its in will probably remain in the highest quartile.

Secondly the amount of vanadium the company's got has been increasing recently. They've had resource upgrades announced to the markets in the past month or so and

Thirdly the cash is coming in. I mean this is a company that would have been described as a minnow 5 years ago and now it's definitely consolidating its mid-tier status. The most recent financial results showed a large amount of cash flowing into the company and significant amount from the Vametco operations.

Some in the industry say that Fortune Mojapelo, the CEO at BMN, couldn't have timed his move better. He's always been a believer in vanadium but he believed in vanadium when no one else did and positioned BMN to be a vanadium producer and suddenly the vanadium price spiked at just the right time and the profits came rolling in. So now there's been a bit of a correction but those are the swings and roundabouts of being in the mining sector. Prices go up and down and its perhaps worth mentioning as well that over at SPAngel the specialist London Brooking house they have a price target of 90p for BMN so they see plenty of upside on the table there.

The vanadium market probably still in deficit so it may well be that this weakness in the vanadium price won't be long lived and that we will see a return to the rising price that we saw in recent months again."

Perhaps it's just me but I am quite enjoying the increase in both the V price and sp this morning. I am looking for pattern changes and this might be the start.

Volume appears lower though I could be wrong. If so I wonder if a bit of caution is consuming our shorters / traders? In my opinion that would be wise.

That is exactly why the BMN vertical integration model is the one that will work.

Our (absent) visitors were happy to point out falling V prices. I am very pleased to see a number of days of rising prices.

Perhaps the correction in the V market is playing out exactly as Terry Perles predicted. If so expect a significant recovery in the V price, making Vametco even more profitable and of course Vanchem.

Exciting 2019 / 2020 ahead.

Anyway Vanadium price definitely UP AGAIN on Asianmetals.

Ukstevsg no these are today's figures. Yesterday I posted:

"asianmetal.com showing vanadium pentoxide up 0.84%, but perhaps more significantly vanadium nitride up 3.38% !!!!"

Today vanadium nitride up 1.69%.

This is good news. Let's celebrate it. Let's shout it from the roof tops. Because it is so much better than the V price going down!

Expert you are incorrect. Read my post from 07.06 carefully. I did reference those RNSs and they did impact the sp by raising the closing price range.

You seem incredibly keen to put across a negative perspective. I just disagree with you for reasons that I have stated.

CaptainStanley first I was responding to a sweeping statement by YinYang who has deramped another share. I did not name that share as I am not here to promote it, and my comment was not specifically aimed at ANGS.

What is quality? How about a BoD that puts together an exciting business plan and delivers it. A CEO that draws a relatively small fee. A company that sees revenue grow by over 6700% in just 2 years. A company that finished 2018 with £42 million in cash and no debt. A company that was one of the best performing AIM shares in both 2017 and 2018. A company where my investment is up 1300% !! A company that is expanding its production base by taking over another existing profitable production plant and diversifying its activities.

Would that do for starters as a definition?

Let's agree that rising V prices will be a significant driver for the sp, and we have indications that that is already happening.

Now let's assume V prices remain exactly where they are today for the foreseeable future, ie no increase. According to you nothing would move the sp upwards. I strongly disagree!

Taking on Vanchem and immediately adding nearly 1,000 mtV pa to our production and therefore revenue and profit would make no difference to the sp? Really?

Vametco production moving towards or evening exceeding 3,000 mtV pa and therefore significantly adding to revenue and profit would make no difference to sp? Really?

Mokopane coming into play supplying Vanchem and possibly supplying ire to third parties, as the company have indicated could happen, would add revenue and profit, but would make no difference to the sp? Really?

BE contracts announced showing a clear path to sales, revenue and profit would make no difference to the sp? Really?

Not sure about JSE listing by itself, but alongside those other news items it could be significant

Perhaps you and I must agree to differ on this. Let's both of us hope I'm right and you are wrong!
