The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
This rise looks leaky now. ABC-19 MHRA Home Test approval imminent to be announced in my opinion.
This is more than a few PIs buying because the company tweeted a photo of some crates of equipment that the market knew was coming anyway.
This is leaky. Strap in. Risky to trade it here.
GLA DYOR.
All those clowns on twatter with names like “Ninja warrior super assassin trader” need to change their stupid names to “Magoo trader”.
Even a blind cartoon character could have seen this coming months ago.
It’s a clear choice: Buy now or pay 80% more when the ABC-19 MHRA home use approval RNS lands.
It’s not been thought of because it’s impractical and unworkable and too expensive and ridiculous.
No. Read the post. You don’t need to upload and validate every test. You keep doing them at home until there is a change of status.
In any case, read the fkn post. It’s just one scenario out of a hundred possibles. The point being it’s not hard to work out a foolproof way of registering tests and verification of IDs. I understand some chumps will find it hard to understand however. You’ll just have to wait and see what is implemented won’t you.
That’s easily solved. Do the test at home then take it to a chemist where they upload it to a database using your I.D. details then they dispose of the test as medical waste.
You only need to register the first test and result then subsequently if there is a change in your status, ie a positive test when previously negative.
Not saying that’s how they’ll do it but there are a number of workable solutions. It’s not that hard.
LOL. BBI have not moved any manufacturing capacity over to Avacta.
As test manufacturers Abingdon and BBI will agree to make tests for anybody who claims they might have one ready to go at some point in the future.
BBI and Abingdon will be fully committed in all their capacity to manufacturing the ABC19 Test. The fact that they have also agreed to manufacture a test for Avacta at some point in the distant future is not a surprise and they won’t be concerned about it as they know it’s months away if it ever gets to market at all.
Abingdon advertise on twitter to make tests for other companies on a daily basis. They will agree to make tests for whoever will pay them to do so. It’s zero risk for them. It doesn’t mean the test is ready or is any good. Lol.
Starbright: “Until their next tests” can obviously be daily, weekly, whatever, we don’t know what the frequency will be yet.
The point is that a negative antibody test is also a negative covid test at that time and that’s what many are missing.
The Moonshot program is about both antigen and antibody testing. With the numbers involved it has to be and many companies will be involved, home tests, tests in hospitals, doctors, pharmacies and purpose built testing Centres.
However, those who scoff at the assertion that only people who test positive for antibodies are free to re enter society are missing the inverse implication:
Everybody who develops Covid also develop antibodies to some extent. The window for antigen testing is very short, about 6 days into infection for a short period then you can have the virus and test negative on saliva but have antibodies. The inverse of this is anybody who tests negative for antigen, then also negative for antibodies is almost certainly virus free and can be given a digital health certificate and allowed to return to work until their next tests.
Those who immediately test positive for antibodies will probably be asked to isolate for a period then re tested and given an immunity certificate and exempt from testing for a longer period of time, say 3 months or so.
The inverse implication of a negative antibody test is that we are negative for Covid. It’s the same implication as a negative antigen test and has a longer much bigger window when the test can be accurately applied. Many are missing this.
Here is a video of the boss of Hough labs in Australia talking about their rapid antibody test being used to allow people to enter venues etc when they return a NEGATIVE result.
This is the surprise outcome that most are missing here.....
Interesting developments for those testing neg for antibodies....

Two Pro cyclists from the FDJ team given immunity passports after positive antibody tests and exempted from the otherwise mandatory daily antigen tests by pro cyclings governing body, the UCI. This is the way everything will go. We are watching it happen now.
“The Groupama-FDJ team have revealed that two of their riders were discovered to have recovered from the COVID-19 coronavirus during pre-training camp antibody tests.
The riders have not been named for privacy reasons but have been issued a certificate by the UCI, exempting them from the series of pre-race RT-PCR swab tests needed by riders and teams to show they do not have COVID-19. The two riders are now considered immune from catching COVID-19, having been deemed as fully recovered and passed a more stringent heath check.”

Word is, The Trumpster is going to announce emergency FDA Authorisation for Plasma therapy in Covid 19 patients..... ie, Antibody Transfusions.
The noise is all heading in the forecast projected direction very nicely. GLA.
All the blood tests are antibody. Not possible to test for antigen with a serology Test.
......into increased production.
Omega are building into a large mid cap company and this is the launchpad. Just the beginning.
They will have the capacity to produce 1M per day in the future.
They are already looking at another manufacturing facility near Dundee.
I’d expect coming profits to be reinvested into inc
Very interesting video interview. Well worth a watch. No need to sign in or anything.
These rapid tests are going to be massive. Huge global market. ODX can't even scratch the surface with full production capacity. Lots of room for multiple players.
Interesting developments for those testing neg for antibodies....

Sorry got the pos and negs mixed up. It should read...
“It’s clearly a rapid antibody LF serology Test but it’s being promoted as a “Covid Test” saying anybody who tests negative is “not a carrier” and is clear to go back to work if they test negative for antibodies”
Just watched the whole video with this Hough Test. Very interesting.
It’s clearly a rapid antibody LF serology Test but it’s being promoted as a “Covid Test” saying anybody who tests positive is “not a carrier” and is clear to go back to work if they test negative for antibodies. Hough is saying people should be having the test every Monday and they are clear to work if negative.
This is an interesting development in the way things are moving.
Everybody was thinking people testing positive for antibodies would be the ones cleared to carry on as normal but Hough is taking the inverse position. An interesting development and will be watching this closely to see how it is used in future.
It seems ....
Negative Antibody Test = Negative Antigen and clear of Covid.
True. The size of the government order, eg 75 million tests will be divided amongst the consortium but Omega will keep 100% of the margin from the portion of those tests that they produce.
The idea of profit sharing and profits split 5 ways etc is a common misconception, largely among lazy naysayers who haven’t even bothered to research it before slinging some incorrect theory around.
“The only issue is that antibodies do not last forever in most cases and infections can mutate (hence an annual flu vaccine is delivered to people needing it).”
The flu vaccine is adjusted and modified each year to suit the prevalent strain as it mutates all the time. The newly produced vaccine triggers the most effective immune response.
The vaccine is required annually not because antibodies “disappear”, they don’t, it’s because the prevalent strain in the uk is different every winter.
