I was looking at this (88e).
The top other 2 risers for the day and pmo ( other holding).
Not looked at other large risers but they all ramp from this morning till around 10 or 11 and have flat lined pretty much.

If your willing to check the other risers I am sure there will be the odd exception but the 3 I checked so far have flat lined from mid morning.

I have seen other oil based firm use their position (oil rich and no cash) place a "outside local context" venture capital chair in and bring the backing with them.
Is this a non starter for PVR?
Would it not be possible to find some financial support (knowing their guy was going to be running the show and not going to mess things up) for the project by choosing the right candidate?
Not choose a candidate then have to look for financial support?
Ultimately, it just needs the money to be developed.
Its an Irish show. I just wonder the IF the appointment were well known to the backers or of the backers choosing if that could bring the money from outside Ireland to finish the job. I am not saying the middle east is short of oil but this is would help their desire to be seen as a more global operators in the field?

Perhaps my subject line is wishful thinking but 16p+ ( not factoring in other reserves besides Charlie 1) on a successful outcome isn't that far fetched.

I can see the money lasting past feb. How much after I dont know. But they have let the Diablo licence lapse and that's a saving. That was after the announcement about running costs until feb.
I think its a case of find a partner to get it developed (or best case a CEO with some financial backer behind him to see the job out) or keep it ticking over until the oil price rises and people show a interest in oil proper again. Lets hope that's sooner rather than later.

As you both rightly pointed out it seems silly.
But I have seen it happen many times before where there is a good chance of a rise until spring.
I didn't mention April and Tax payments causing a drop?
I will try and remember mid to late Jan where there is a dip to point you back here!

Had a real problem connecting to the website for some reason?
I was trying to work out (after the Charlie 1 drill) what the other oil quantities were top 88e.
I know there is 90 million but there is more than that, how much more?
I worked out on one of DW buy-ins the SP has to be better than 7p for him to be in profit.
So 15p+ on success might be right?! plus the other reserves and IF oil is above $80 than the shale comes into play?

I am right I thinking there are other drills planned after Carlie1 and there is quite a bit of worth to there untapped after the planned drill?
I only ask because on some of the other boards there are people (believe it or not) de-ramping 88E and trying to get people to invest in other stocks! Commenting they will be sooner to "hit a peak" in SP!
My only comment about other stocks is its nice to see some small bounce back after Tullow crashed yesterday.

You are still looking at something that COULD still be developed.
I say this "could" very loosely.
Trying to find partners with oil at $60 isn't going to be easy.
I think its a case of keep ticking until the oil price and thus interest picks up tbh.
Unless there is a CEO with connections to "bring a deal with them"?

They have had elections out in Hong Kong. Still no news of this lack of funds. No explanation.

Personally I would hold in cash until some news is forthcoming......brave or money your prepared to loose if your not.

Spread is the killer.
Looking at the historical prices isn't the full story.
The spread could well take away most of the profits.
You would loose 10% just by selling and buying. Its so easy to loose sight of this.
A spike on historical data can be more like a plateau once the spread is factored in.
