re pi's not being looked after in a placing would say looking back through their RNS history the only placing i could find was one back in Oct 2016. The shareprice leading up to the raise was never above 23p and the raise was for 21p which was a 3 percent dip on the sp the day before.
No idea if they'll raise now, no special knowledge but historically speaking at least its not something to lose too much sleep over as pi's (as in being mugged).

Any reason they couldn't borrow if they needed short term funds of a few mill?
Cash generation seems solid and they pay their debts down well.
Borrowings at period end of US$15.8 million (US$20.5 million at 31 December 2018);
· Period end cash of US$7.0 million ( US$10.4 million at 31 December 2018);
· Cash of US$8.3 million,and borrowings of US$13.9 million, as at 31 August 2019.

Cash is going up and borrowings down. Unless I'm missing something can't see why they'd have trouble with short term financing options if needed?

Their systems don't always seem to pick them up. Investigate is the same.
Impressed with the £5.5m in cash and profits for a co. of this marketcap. Agree its nice to see the divi maintained too esp as they've been growing the business so have incurred additional costs. See a bright future still here just need the market to see it too.

at this 5p level? Huge volume today. More than 15m showing so far on advfn, close will be interesting. Be good to get 5p on the bid EOD imo.

Agree its a mess but have bought quite a few this morning at the 5p mark (thank you sellers) as I beleive they're likely to have learnt a lot from 16az and traders may now fare quite a bit better after 38.
Time'll tell but quietly confident they'll come out of this a better outfit than when they went into it.

Do agree with you these should have updates shareholders in a timely manner on the good and/or the bad with 16az.

Most impressive part the interview I found was at the end when the reporter asked him what current production was and he just told him with no blather or dithering at all.
Must have been in BLOE too long, found just a bit of honesty so refreshing.

Bit of a nonevent for the co. really. The damage thats been done to the co's rep is in the price already now its down to was the statement about having the funds for the sidetrack accurate and if so how long til the better newsflow starts.-ie- rig sorted and booked, spud date given, SNPC continuing to pay their way, 103 flowing at 5000BPD and all that jazz.
Pretty sure thats what needed now its up to AAOG to start to deliver.

Had just a few at 3.75 too. They've got funds in place to drill and not a believer in the oil coming from some unknown thin sands that no one knows about except Zengas.

Next news could do with being positive though. More cash from SNPC would be a good start.

Personally I think it will have something to do with ATOG and the Tunisian assets. Even if he did nothing wrong it would have left quite a stink after the negative posts/newsflow surrounding it.
What is interesting is that they've stated funding is in place for 103c so no bad news should be forthcoming over cash.
Does leave room for more positive news going forward imho..

After successfully taking the Company through its IPO on AIM in 2017, overseeing a successful drilling campaign on TLP-103C during the last twelve months and having put the funding in place for the TLP-103C side track, David has decided the time is right to step down from the Board with immediate effect to focus on his other projects.

Its 2.5B/H or 60BPD so hoping theres not too sharp a decline curve. lol

Price action seems ok. IG have been asking 5.4p for 40k shares most the morning. had to purchase early doors through spreadbets and they were cut down from what I wanted.
See if they can keep the positive newsflow coming. Thinking it will come in waves (ie payments fron SNPC, op updates etc) in order to best bolster the sp for this 5p placing arrangement they had.

Picked a few up myself on the early drop in price. Seemed wrong and glad to see they finished strongly above the 200dsma on such good volume.
Expecting good things here now what with the aforementioned news, specially the flowrates. Was in BLOE for their debacle so hoping for better/more reliable flowrates here.

Better to be cautious imo esp if you see the sp declining as it did in the run up to results from the drills as happened last year.

Yes it did do. Each drill got sold off but given they were all canceled or dusted it was the right choice. Was tough though coming to acceptance there was going to be no pre drill run up in the sp but thats what happened. Looks to be the same this year?
Should expect it to change if when they find a flowing well.

Anybody seen any pi's being sacrificed? Pretty sure that would have to be RNS'd?
