Not a good time to join PET. The license that most of us were fooled into believing would be awarded last weeek never happened and what makes things worse is that the company did not even bother submitting a bid. No RNS now news no replies to emails. the BOD has gone dark

Fair enough eagleeye though please ensure you are no too trusting of DH’s reassuring emails to you. I am assuming that is what makes you so confidence. He has fooled and deceived many of us and made us feel special before he dumped us and is now not even replying to emails.

Mr T, if you have read my previous posts the answer is clear to your question. The company has no history of success. Despite being around for over two decades little has been achieved. The market has low confidence.

Even note the quote by the director of nextchem - he does not appear awfully confident

This is not a deramp as I am heavily invested and desperate for this to succeed. However I am not that confident especially based on the recent disaster and PETREL where DH has been a disaster. He now refuses to answer calls and reply to emails which is very worrying

Francky - your name appears familiar. I think you may have posted some time back and am pretty sure your annoyed some other posters who made negative comments and you then you disappeared until now.

I am not here for petty arguments and provoking people so will not give you that opportunity. However PET and CLON are not two completely different companies. Both run out of Clontarf and have DH at the helm. The point I am making is that DH has not had a successful career to date. He may have visited many countries, attended some senior meetings and boasts about excellent relationships with governments like Iraq and Bolivia and Ghana. So far it ‘appears’ that may be correct for Bolivia (we will truly know the answer on August 2nd) but so far it has meant diddly squat in Iraq and Ghana .

Never assume anything with DH. When he has nothing to hide he emails responses to shareholders quickly. When he is hiding something he refuses to answer at all

Eagleyez - excuse my typos. I was meant to say that CLON must be awarded more than 1 contract for it to be game changing. I hear your point about 1 being potentially game changing but if we want the sp to really rise and for long term investors to be rewarded where some bought in at 1 pence, two contracts would help make that possible.

However just to play devils advocate DH has 15 years plus experience of working in Iraq, building strong connections with people in the Iraqi ministry, local populations etc. he has had many many trips there, worked on technical proposals, actually had a senior Iraqi on the board at petrel and was ‘guaranteed to be awarded an Iraqi license’ last week.

What happened? Nothing. Petrel were awarded nothing at all and so looks like 25 years of a complete waste to time in Iraq.

Hopefully this will be different and just to be clear there will not be a significant SP change with phase 3 or 4. Clon MUST be awarded the contract for all 7 locations in order for this to be game changing.

They were NOT awarded the main field we thought they would and so far the BOD and DH have refused to answer Any emails about whether they did actually submit a bid or not.

It really is not looking good but we will find out over the next few days as there maybe possibly could be a small IV arrangement with one of the winners or we may be given a leftover scrap

My answer to the question you repeatedly ask people is quite simple. I invested in TRP as I see potential but JA has repeatedly changed and delayed timelines and has lost so much goodwill and faith.

The Iraq’s have set up a bidding system system to that of village farmers hundreds of years ago. Doesn’t matter if rich these ministers are they are primitive uneducated and corrupt idiots. They would rather take a company on that gives them a back handed payment rather than do something good for the country

History has shown that they have and are complete imbeciles and nothing has -appeared to change. Most of these projects will not deliver.

As for PET, IF it is confirmed they did not put a bid then what what a n content group the BOD are. After stringing is on since 1998 with a web of lies / massive exaggeration claims these fools have have miserable failed in every way and in the time long time investors have suffered they have been jet setting around the world with first class flights. 5 star hotels and lobster and caviar .

Despite possible losing so much I am relived that in a few days their major fraudulent intentions would have come out once and for all and no more stringing along. On the other hand even if I can get back 70-% of my investment in a small spike because of a JV then I would take that

As investors who have put money in the this company with the aim of being rewarded for taking a risk, I appreciate it’s hard to contain our emotions. It’s is clear that some of us are letting that boil over …a bit too much .

I have been invested in some shares for 6 years and more and I have clearly made emotional posts . I am relatively new ish here in terms of investment but have been following the company for a few years.
