Oil 1000's of meters down..... wonder if they can find a plane. Beats hunting for a "ping"
That says at least they have some in November... question is how many went with ONSL if any. Had I been advising on this, i would have suggested that licences stayed with the parent and were leased to the subsid ONSL. I'm getting the feeling that is exactly what happened (price for ONSL, yesterday's news etc.) so there is still hope provided RBS leaves them the hell alone. With oil price rising these guys have to have an ace or 2 up their sleeve. If there is to be a pain developing in the ar*se it will be RBS and their seemingly personal project to shut OIL down once and for all. Lets hope they dont get that chance. Stopping the drilling seems a tad silly to me if you want your investment back in a company....
"During the court hearing, the Company requested the court's approval to participate in the drilling of a well in the UK North Sea as part of the Company's restructuring attempt..." Does sound like they hold at least some licences after all. Sadly RBS seems intent on closing Oilexco down (for what reason i can only guess, but assume those licences already have buyers) but at least the Court allowed OIL to continue with restructure and supports their attempts. Share price up again on TSX which is a good sign too.
"goodbye profit takers" well that showed the SP didnt it... lol. I agree the technology is looking good and provided the results back up the findings then OHM are on to a winner and then so are we... long term share with a ton oof potential me thinks...
sell everyone... ummm the CEO has warts umm... the CFO is too fond of sheep ummm.... they sell fosters behind the bar in paper bags.... sell sell.. doom gloom....
: ) no worries... always good to DYOR. I made on MAB, ENT Inns and PUB so I kinda feel this one will go the right way. I really do (I know i said it before) like the idea of buying a pint in a pub i own a part of (as a private shareholder) no matter how small. There that sort of feeling that it's not all pi*sed away at the end of the evening. Got to be a good thing. The more that sell off, the more I will be raking up into my little Pub collection.
That would be about now then..... : ). I'm topping up. Big drop no news... interesting,
in on this one??? Surely not...
I quite like the idea of being a private share holder in a pub... god knows I've spent enough in them LOL!!! If it does go that way then I may actually increase the share holding as we get to D-Day simply to stock up on what is a low cost share... long term could be lots of fun. Take a look at www.autotrader.co.za nice landy stuffs in there!!!
I still gonna pee through your letterbox.. you aint off the hook yet! lol
Best thing is to wait.... nothing will speed it up. As for not relisting, well they would have to offer something else along the same lines as REG is doing in June. It's not in their interests to just pack up the company... and then do what? The same thing again??? Better off carrying on as they are.
I'm still in.... : )

"Actually FSA suspended it because they did not furnish yesr end results thus doesn't meet listing rules" No OIL applied for suspension before the extension FSA granted had expired. It's a smart move, pinning the share price. "Now sale is over and they get out of admin.." OIL has never been in Admin... ONSL was. "but nw they dont have any assets, and so i think there is no value???" As yet I have not studied the offer details and so I don't know exactly what Prem bought but as CHILOB states, what they paid was below value which leads me to believe they didn't get licences, or at least not all of them. OIL is turning a proffit, even now although the new business is way below the revenue levels they enjoyed before hand. As stated before, watch the TSX for a guide to the released share price. http://cxa.marketwatch.com/tsx/en/market/quote.aspx?symbol=oil
One day we will all be rich and famous.... well we are at least working on the first part! lol
HER???? HER??? I should come round your house and pee through your letter box lol!!! PAUL IN SA..... as in Paul In South Africa lol.... DIL1. YOu can't sell your shares on the TSX, you didn't buy them there. You haven't lost anything at all.... does it not say how much your book price is on your statement and i'm guessing that''s exactly what you paid? Until you sell you neither suffer a loss, nor a proffit. You will not be able to do anything until these shares are released on the LSE and as yet we have no idea what price that will be. It could be where it left off, higher, or lower. I think we are likely to see a rise as we would be on more solid ground than on the way up to the suspension. Remember it was OIL that suspended, not the FSA. That is a good thing as it pinned the share price.

now we watch the TSX share price.... : )
The delist will make current shareholders, private share holders. Instead of buying and selling on the LSE we'd do it via them instead and they would need to find a buyer for the stock you were selling or one that wanted to sell so you can buy. It doesn't kill the share, just means they save cash. They may relist once things are better but who knows....
