Maybe stocks like these will be seen as 'safe heavens in the coming years as we negotiate Brexit? The company has ramped up its push into the global markets, I suspect partly to offset any Brexit effect. As you say Babcock looks solid..quietly building it order books,increasing revenue, decreasing debt,increasing DIV's and making good progress into becoming a well known,well respected and well manged company. I think we will see Babcock starting to climb the FTSE 100 soon.

The markets have finally noticed! Babcock are looking pretty good...with or without Brexit. Next contracts to be won (that i have any understanding of ), will be the Type 45 refits and the Type 31 builds. Hopefully over the next couple of years, the level of debt will be substantially reduced and we can have some tasty dividend increases. All good in the hood.

I also work for Babcock jimmy. The way i see it at the moment with the poor services sector sentiment coupled with the Brexit effect, it is knocking are share price. All the fundamentals are good for thecompany and with the insight into the companies ambitions, bid pipeline and increasing earnings per share, I am personally quite happy with letting loose my £150 every month, plus gaining the 1 - 2 free shares per month, the tax savings and the DIV's. I m just watching and waiting to see how far Bab can fall before i make a larger private investment, because i m not sure we have hit bottom yet. I m looking for a medium hold to about 2020 before i start plucking those juicy ripe mature shares from the scheme and top skimming my privates. This has every potential to reach those lofty highs again in my opinion...just as long as people like you and me keep doing our bit. . ;-]

I only hold 66000 shares here which I payed £80 for. I only invest what I can afford to loose,so have forgot about that already.But if it helps the guys on here who have invested massive amounts, I will join the group when I m home tnite on my Pc. Still holding on to hope this can be turned around TBH though.Out of interest and if MJ manages to pull the rabbit out the hat, would anybody invest more into this company or has there been to much water under bridge?

Daytrader ..Exactly.. just for the benefit of some people and to reassure holders here! Hoping the next quarterly will be a good one and gleans better recovery rates after some machinery tweaks. Hopefully APT prices will uplift by the end of the year as well. Think this share is due some good news..:-].

Last RNS on the 30th Stated four directors taking cash in lieu of fees and also spending there own dosh on shares. Surely a sign of confidence from the board who would probably know if there was a possibility of being delisted and private take over? They probably know this share has floored and the only way is up!

I m seriously considering topping up!..could be a good but wild bet at these prices! Surely they wouldn't mothball now...Not now the APT prices are slowly ticking up. When are we due our next update on what the hells going on with recovery rates etc? We should be well into the courser grain stuff now. I do remember RC saying at the the meeting back in November that Chinese manufactured equipment had failed. There has also been planned down time in Feb to refit new gear. Are we experiencing new additionally problems or what?

Rockd/Sharehunter, Indeed this is shaping up to be transformational year for ALO. When relisting occurs, do we think we will see alot of new share buyers? Is there a possibility of any open offers after consolidation? When will consolidation occur?

Rockd - I would be well happy if that was the case with the share price! Looking to hold long here, so hoping this could be good few pence up by then! Reading that interview with Mark, its all starting to look rather positive...:-] What could possibly keep back a relisting now though? All going well and he gets Mowana kicking out good grades and good volumes of copper, thus strengthening the bank balance, which then in turn will hopefully keep the Chinese happy for the finance for Matala. I wonder what the end game will be in Marks mind? Keep building to a mid cap? or look for a buy out by gold heavy such as Rangold?

When does everybody think we will know the exact relisting date? And just for fun, what will the relisting share price be?

I only hold 66000 odd here as i m still learning the ropes in this AIM investment lark and this was one of my first investments along with WLFE, SXX, IRG (now echo) and just this week into SDX. I also hold stock in Babcock (via my company's share scheme and look after my missus interests in her company scheme shares in the bloody amazing CVSG. Will be loading up as soon as we re-list as i think this has massive upside potential, considering Mowana and the JV's especially with Rangold! Hopefully build up at least few mill.Have been watching this board for a while.I look to these boards to learn (but not that naive to believe everything, don't worry!) ...thank god CW's gone eh!
