RE: Cost of current test in wages etc5 Mar 2021 12:09
Yes we pay staff and they arrive 30 mins early and go into a pod we've hired [2 at a time], they do the test themselves and "horribly" have to hang around outside of the property until the test proves negative .. I know it's not ideal and yes every home has to do this ... We run PCR tests every few days... We had been Covid free until two weeks ago despite every possible caution taken, an admission from hospital [who they said had tested negative] was actually tested positive when we got the PCR back, ironically the LFT we did on admission showed negative too .. Hopefully we'll get through this, it's amazing though how transmissible this virus is despite taking every precaution necessary, we are high end nursing so are used to barrier and cohert nursing ... Fortunately all have been vaccinated and all seem well ..
