'but of p*** poor decision making with the result that the financial performance and return to shareholders is miserable.'
This is why he is simply Uneducated John and behaves like a spoilt little brat!
Shall we get this straight, Ariana was never going to be a rags to riches story overnight but a slow grower over time.
All mines have had to deal with a world pandemic lockdown which the 'global billionaire elite' instigated for their own end game of control and domination of humanity. Do they honestly give a dam if the gold is mined or not?
Then we had the conflict in Ukraine, now Gaza and the foreign policy of the USA to negotiate which is not aligned to my best interests!
Turkey had a coup which could have finished us and the board recognised they needed to operate in other jurisdictions possibly from that experience. Turkey also had a devastating earthquake, plus another mine had a serious incident and opposition to mines in Turkey for ecological reasons.
TPTB do not want you to profit from mining they just want the physical gold in their possession, this could be a possible reason for the disconnect between the price of gold and the mines.
We also have the situation where the 'silly masses' have been hoodwinked into investing in ESG and this green utopia which has no prospect of making any profit and all the money has been flowing into that.
'My trust in this management has completely evaporated. Far too many missed targets.'
See above, they have negotiated all that and set us up for an interesting future!
'A poor new JV decision which resulted in massive dilution of advanced Turkish assets and a fear that the same party will be involved again exploiting Dokwe - no doubt demanding to be the dominant partner with control of the majority of the assets and able to dictate strategy. In fact dictate everything.'
Ariana are explorers not mine developers and operators which is cost intensive, this is what we have employed them to do. Find someone else cheaper then who can do such a good job!
With the benefit of hindsight we should have sold out at 6p bought back in around 2p, we did not.
