If there is nothing done with the extra cash and especially no divi why would anyone still hold the share - I would nt.

I thought there would be a pullback but also thought that certainty would then steady the SP and the cash reserve and it s uses would be a future catalyst. I personally was hoping at some time in the year ahead we may seem a divi return. No idea what s going on. The FCA seem to be creating more uncertainty than the SC.. I was pretty certain that the SC would rule in favour of banks but the FCA (govt) seem to be just nut jobs.

Divis in a diff way. I can t get my head round selling shares to be the only way to make money which then means you get less divis as you then have less share count.

The last nett income (earnings report) was negative ONLY due to the 165 mill provision and would have been lower due to legal expenses.

In the next earnings report it will be positive automatically. Simple !

Money clearly is not an issue. Look at the divi history. After a good rise why would anyone keep invested. This is nt a Tesla. But a dividend is the only thing that would keep imvestment. No brainer. It is going to happen

The one thing I would say about the timing which is obvious...Whichever way it goes on Friday, you will not have any chance on Monday morning to buy or sell quickly !! As a long term holder I believe CBG will return to business as usual and hence the SP back to Nav or near. I have regretted selling early so many times, particularly with rolls. I won t be making the same mistake again. If the Sp does drop on after Friday which I doubt but it could, will no one buy in to it ?? I think they might. The legals have all been covered.... in short no one apart from the unsophisticated wants the banks and wider economy to get screwed, and the COA law does not fit the situation. Roll the 'loaded' dice !!

Chid ... CBG did not have a choice in selling assets, stopping divis, they had to prepare for a worse case scenario no matter what out come any legal experts suggest may happen.
