Nige ...... I would say uk banking sector also been as affected by Brexit .. I hold both Lloyds and Barclays and not too good ... I’m only a recent holder of BDEV and I bought just after the dividend at 490 so I’m hoping for some good positive Brexit news ... I was tempted to take my profit the day after I bought when this hit 522 but I will sit tight as I think I have a good entry point and the dividend hopefully will cover any losses from that

The point I was making was the framework has been there a long time now and there has been no or very little information on how this is going to progress ... I think the Brexit term is kicking the can down the street .. There is obviously some kind of impasse between the two sides which is clearly holding things up .That or Barrick have just put it on the back burner whilst they sorted out the Rangold merger

To be fair it’s been going on for so long the end game could be next week or next year ... There is very little info out there on how this will be resolved..

From reading the end paragraph of the RNS Re the dispute with GoT it doesn’t sound like the resolution will happen any time soon.

I’m gutted .. I was going to put 10k in CEY when you mentioned them the other day .. they were at 89.5 .. I bottled it prepared to keep some cash in the bank pending any crash in the market.. I’ve bought CEY before at 115 and sold around 170 but not looked at them for a while ... now at 96 so I’ve lost 6% already from my 89 p

The report that was removed suggested sell off but also that strongly hinted that it could be swallowing up by the new consortium with Barrick coming to an agreement which is good value for small investors
