Covid is in the mix here and yes I get that ... But hopefully the vaccine may bring the tourism industry back to life ... But let’s say Covid wasn’t here Brits would be flocking to the costas just the same take .. Just look what happened when they got a quarantine free return from the canaries Covid out of the equation and we are worse of .. Hey and don’t forget we have taken the biggest hit to GDP from Covid than any other European country so we are on the back foot to begin with

Don’t forget each EU country is only losing one trading partner... we are losing 27 .. Quite amazed that clever people can’t work that out

Because theirs is split 27 ways so each country will take a certain hit yes to all 27 countries it’s more but let’s say Spain .. their percentage won’t be the same as UK hit to GDP because of what they may export to us so yes overall more but the hit on GDP is less for each state so that will enable them to put more pain on UK for longer
