I read on these forums all the time Rachel this Starmer that etc etc .. Well Trump always based his economics on how well the stock market was doing .. well personally I want to thank Starmer and Rachel .. my portfolio is flying literally with RR and IAG .. even my LGEN shares have woken up a little… Also some of my punts are beginning to wake up AGL EAAS and thanks to Cev my EEE are best part of 50% up .. just an EUA spike on cease fire talk and a WG rebound and I will be smiling.. but hey are we not all better off under Labour right now .. ha ha ha ha … must be hurting some to admit it

Definitely not .. just giving my view .. like I say ceasefire and I think it doubles or more from here and I’m out … And with Trump don’t rule out anything with Putin .. he may raise the issue of lifting sanctions to Putin in order for him to give back land .. who knows with Trump

Just adding to the thread .. Has I said .. it’s a punt and I’m willing to risk £4.5 k of my own money .. I’m surprised it’s survived the war .. however EUA has the mines and the minerals .. it hit 48p high before the war on buyout speculation.. like I say I’m taking a chance on a quick rebound on ceasefire etc .. my choice not advocating or advising anything else .. just adding to the thread

For a more speculative and possible quick in and out double your money … and I’m sure some may also be in from a long time ago … Have a look at EUA currently 2.7p but I’m sure when any ceasefire is agreed then talk of sanction removal then this could hit 6-10p quick time .. it’s survived the war so far in Russia.. I’ve put in £4.5k the other day .. pure gamble though and not for faint hearted but in my humble opinion a ceasefire will add 5p quickly .. I will be out at that point

Can’t sanction or tax him as they don’t trade much .. Putin already has massive sanctions so he won’t respond to that .. Maybe Trump would have been better if using the threat of more weapons to Ukraine to get him to the table .. Russia’s economy is on its knees with inflation.. maybe the talk of lifting sanctions would have also been better

I’ve just rejoined the EUA party with a paltry 167000 shares .. hopefully double my money with the sniff of a ceasefire

I was thinking that no doubt in the next day or so we will see another increase.. They smell blood 🩸.. Don’t seemed deterred they are well informed people and I’ve said this before on here .. they rarely get it wrong .. and before everyone calls me a shorter I hold @120 .. I bought after the last failed buyout and was prepared to hold until the next one.. I’m 4.5k down on this .. luckily my portfolio is spread wide so it’s now only a smidgen of it’s all time high .. IAG which I hold 10k shares at 155 is making me money and RR has made me a shed load … I will sit and wait ..

Thing is Mr Gonzo under the Dublin agreement we could send them straight back to France hence no small boats .. Any Brexiteer who thinks it’s been a great success for our country are in complete denial

Really .. small boats didn’t happen before Brexit .. if you are so stupid that you can’t work that out I can’t be bothered to explain it to you .. similar to mass migration now from Nigeria/India/pakistan/ Bangladesh/etc etc etc .. wasn’t as bad before Brexit because the Poles/Romanians etc were doing the lower skilled job and skilled jobs .. they left and it’s now filled by people from countries mentioned… and they also could bring their families.. rest assured they won’t return home after their visa expires .. Europeans had free movement so they could come and go .. all brought on by Brexit and the demise of the city and GDP .. still I’m a remoaner (not really) I don’t care because sadly I’m alright Jack .. Brexit was a disaster and off all the things Labour have done the biggest thing that annoys me most is not calling out Brexit

Net zero is a white elephant.. we could hit our targets tomorrow and it wouldn’t make an ounce of difference because of America/China/India etc .. Ps I do believe in climate change and things need to change but unless the big players change it makes no difference

I’ve no interest in net zero whatsoever.. biggest waste of money ever but it won’t change so why worry about .. control what you can control and live an happier life

Do you think it’s 5.2% on the nose .. if so than you need to grasp some reality.. “ its easily” was my conservative guess in my opinion it’s probably 8%. If not more .. just my opinion .. no agenda .. I’m underwater here .. 7k shares @120 . Just a realist

5.2% short is just those over 0.5% .. this is easily 6/7% shorted … and I reckon a bit more after today

Usually in a down day on the FTSE like this RR had become a little fickle.. the last few days it seems to have become sturdy again and found its feet .. long may it last £7 by Feb .. not so sure but I hope so … Good luck all

Did anyone see the little snippet on front page of FT this morning.. Basically saying big pharma are not so much interested in buying the fully certified product but are more interested in buying developing markets .. let’s hope that bodes well for AGL

I wasn’t in PFC .. but shorters there reduced that from about 85p to 10p gradually before the hard truth was laid bare .. I do t think WG is a PFC I don’t think they have the same legacy problems.. well I hope not .. I’m not going to chase my losses here as I’ve got 7000 share @120 .. my view now is that if it goes bust I only lose another £3.75k but I suspect this will hit a£1 next year and then hopefully another buy out comes along .. that was the only reason I bought in .. I took a chance another buyout would come along .. WH seem to have something that is wanted and the price is right
