When announced by now ex PM Rauk, Metinaro was with the 3 power stations conversions

aimed at all completed by 2025, the Gas/lng Import facilities being removed from the old

TL plan to have co-located with Beaco Gas/lng Export facilities (sunrise hub south project)

which has tenders for by 2030.

Reasoning given by PM Rauk , to save the Island millions over Diesel imports, on which

the 3 power stations currently run. IMO would be shooting themselves in the foot, if they

then go and feed it with expensive external imports, vice their own gas from Chuditch 🤔

We now also have China state involvement with the TL office of Strategic Planning

and Investment, under which Metinaro fall's , MOU announced in last weeks TL

Cabinet meeting. 😉 Then Fridays full agreement signature with Xi.

Metinaro/PIT awards made last December, signed off early 2023, press reported , FID final investment

decision would be made Q4 2023 after completion of the studies.

Chuditch FPSO their only real option , to use their own local cheap gas, for their own

domestic supply , PIT , 90 Day tank farm and supply to 3 being gas converted power

stations. 🤔

Woodside cost's reduced to its operational costs and share of pipeline only.

Everything else in the area, TL/China Beaco/Metinaro partnerships for all

processing and production.

Or Woodside could take around $300m+ to leave them to it , similar price as TL

Gov loaned Timor Gap to take the 56% they now have, Osaka only ever interested

in the production, so will probably want to keep its 10%, leaving T/Gap and or

new Chinese partner with 90% ........ 🤔

Australia also agreed in those concessions, not to drain it from their side and

would not issue a new Australian license on the Sunrise border area, as long

as the agreement in place. So that could open another can of worms.... 🙄

Everything else within the Timor Leste section of the Timor Sea is 100% TL control

only Sunrise itself has string's attached, the new Indonesia/TL/OZ maritime boundaries

are governed by International law.

Nothing to stop China and TL building infrastructure now and using Chuditch/Kelp or

new discoveries first, just Sunrise compensation required to OZ if they get pushed out.

Original treaty it was split 50/50 but later in an attempt to get things moving, OZ gave

concessions, to eventually 70/30 or 80/20 in favour of TL , if going to Darwin or the

Island builds Beaco.

TL rep's came out as usual , on the steps and said its agreed it will come to the Island

and we now have 80%, which was not what was said in that meeting, which was just

and outline framework, IF they moved things on. That meeting was 2020'ish after the

original maritime boundary agreed in 2018 and ratified 2019........when enter Sundagas

NON TENDER award of Chuditch as part of the showcase to launch the first bid round.

China Belt and Road has been on the Island for 20 years, building the Government palace

and other buildings, plus numerous roads etc......

The Gov statement says --- China and Timor Leste to promote the BRI WILL be finalised

soon, it can only be, China are picking up one of the Major projects, as said been doing
