If ANYONE, can obtain that first ever YES from Gusmao/Horta, for something other than 21 years of wait for Beaco to be built for production, it is Sundagas, led by Andy B , vice president of SEAPEX, who has the regional contacts and rubs sholders with all the Major/Tier1 companies in that role, at their regional conferences and informal social events, dinners , golfing events etc, ahhhhhhh 18 holes and a JV/Sale 😂🤣😂

Things are moving on, the Chinese Gas man's visit to the Island, the Islands domestic security plan, Metinaro FID, all coming to a head, it can not be Sunrise, the PIT facilities were originally part of the Beaco plan on the South Coast , stripped away to Metinaro near Dili and 2 of the 3 Island power stations UP NORTH. On a much quicker timeframe, brought on by their system and infrastructure being , crushed 2020-2022 by Covid then a series of Tropical storms, hence the 90 day on Island supply at all times feature of the plan. 🤔

Everything they are doing, points to our FPSO being their only local game in town, to provide that cheap local Timor Sea gas as it states in the 2011-2030 Strategic Development Plan SDP. 🤔

Metinaro a project under the TL department of planning and infrastructure, who signed off an MOU with China overseas development corp , 3 days before Gusmao met Xi in China (Cabinet meeting pre visit) That same TL Ministry published figures (nice spot by Dougb) for its projected budget, 2024-2026 each higher than the Islands total annual budget, dropping back in 2027 (est costs of Metinaro ?) Where is that many billions coming from? (China MOU ?)

Sunrise set in stone (island view) for Beaco tenders 2030 , much later, what else do they have to supply themselves with Timor Sea Gas (per plan SDP 2011-2030) other than Drill ready Chuditch FPSO. 🤔

Be that by Boil/SG snail paced current planning, or moved aside for China state CNOOC, to do much quicker.😲🤑🤑
