RE: Fleccy v Black Rock !22 Sep 2024 18:43
'.....its value is based on nothing more than hype and consensus agreement between vested interest's who trade the Token. It's useless as a currency because it's too volatile, useless for transacting...'
So is art Fleccy ..... art is in the same boat , intrinsically & tangibly it has no more than a nominal value , for the paint & canvas and therefore the below applies to art, collectively valued at trillions, equally so ...
'....because the valuation is based wholly on consensus agreement of the vested interest network participants...'
.... sometimes if you look at thing from a different perspective , you see a different picture ( pardon the pun ) ... and maybe , just maybe , this relatively new digital world of ours .... has its very own 'art' in the form of BTC , that its participants value accordingly (like it or not as per the Art lovers) ....
....for me , it was always inevitable that the dgital world would have its own currency ... and thankfully , not one totally controlled by the CB's, who time and again , just get themselves in a 'hole' and turn on the printing machines !
as i say Fleccy . ,,,look from a different perspective ,.... and you might see a different outcome !
