Magnum What you are proposing is that the Geordies have replicated the manufacturing process that you think Cave is such a cwever boy for creating, so the geordies must be cwever boys too? No chance, I said on here for many months, existing anti-microbial mask tech would deactivate Covid-19. What RMS have is a supposed new way of doing the same thing, supposedly better at and and more longevity, they never had exclusivity in making a Covid killing mask.

I don't think it comes anywhere near infringing any patents P2F hold, not sure why you would think it would, they just skinned the cat a different way, there are many ways and none will infringe Cave's patents. P2F have to sell the superiority of the way they skinning the cat.

I got no problem saying P2F Nano better av action than others but what a shame that order isn't being fulfilled by P2F, if only they'd they'd gone the respirator route in the first place. Still a positive that the concept is something the NHS is taking. Still invested.

Goonerboy, I was telling you all on here since last year that the claim that it was the world's first covid killing anti viral layer was not that impressive and that it was achievable with tried ant tested methods of creating av masks. If that is a revelation to you now I don't know why, basic research to find that out.
I don't think it matters as it can always be argued Nano is better blah blah marketing BS etc etc.
The bad bit is that it was glaringly obvious that the NHS wanted FFP3 before P2F even got funded and pumped, why have the Geordies got there before them?
If those FFP3 show reduction in infection rates in hospital it will be exactly the type of trial I called for also, shame the Geordies weren't in charge of P2F all along, Northerners get stuff done.

Another reason they should have gone the FFP3 route in the first place, they fetch way more per piece.

If it is the P2F av layer then this is confirmation of what I said since last year about the fact they chose the wrong mask for the NHS, if it isn't the P2F av layer it bears out the fact I also made that producing an av layer is something that can be done in numerous ways.
Hopefully it's the P2F layer and something constructive has come from this, quite why P2F didn't manage to do this themselves is puzzling.
