Murata dont need to buy us...they have licenced our tech.
Truck start...why have they not sold one unit?
Been having a look at other truck start modules ...ALL seem to be after market sales. Cap-xx imo going for the oems...to be included in the design and production of these vehicles from the outset,,,therefore licensing negotiations,manufacturing,design will take a lot longer......but worth the wait.
of course just my thoughts.

So it seems Cap-xx have their own wonderful electrode...enabling better performance and lower production costs.

Now just has Tesla seem to have interest in Maxwells potential electrode.....Have Murata/Sony taken the Cap-xx electrode on board and will be using it in future development of batteries?

timescales and licensing of Cap-xx tech for batteries suggests they have.

Been having a look at the VW meb platform, originally to look at the supercap supplier (if there is one) , with Maxwell now out of the way it increases our possibilities.....
ended up thinking more about the battery supplier.....RUMOURED to be Panasonic.
who knows but its interesting.

What makes you think Murata and Sony are going to any different....
Read the Chairmans statement ...reads differently in light of what we now know.....
NOTE no mention of Murata and ceased production......is that really a board you can trust?

Yes it's been common knowledge on this board for a few months...with the exception of the reason (profit margins) and the fact the umal is involved as well. Have Murata torn up the licence agreement or have they employed the licenced tech into bigger batteries?

The As an Ws are Cap-xx supercaps.
Hopefully Cap-xx will take over the production...but imo the market should have been informed.

Iwgrod....yes it's old news but the actual reason is now known.

Dungiven...the umal, dmh,dmf,dmt are the only Cap-xx products Murata manufacture.....therefore all are behind discontinued.
Unaware of any new products....

Keep an eye out james...maybe ...will sleep on it.

Murata our licensee for 10 years decides to stop production of Cap-xx licenced products,all products with no as yet replacements and you do not consider it news worthy?
Interims will be interesting...reduction in royalties from Murata and no more licence fees from AVX....
Nothing to panic about .sure good News is near.

SO cap-xx main licensee has decided to cease manufacturing ALL Cap-xx licensed products because it cannot make a profit on them....
And Cap-xx say nothing.!!
