just a little bit confused.At 4 mins he states the smallest choke size available that does not cause the well to be unstable is 1/8th inch..producing 1000 bod..he then says the optimal flow rate is likely to be 700 bod..how is this possible without an unstable well?
States they are looking at acquisitions that extend they existing play because they believe the play runs the entire length of the WR permit..hence the increased seismic size.
Really good to go over these again, surprising what you miss and understand a little better.

why would Block need a new drill pipe, (cant find the mention of this in interviews but interesting looking)..thought it was a case of bad planning by Block ,(and a fabricated excuse for the delays) but a little more understanding and i think its more of a case of forward planning.
Going back over some of the interviews one thing is clear....
there is no consistency in PH mentions of flow rates...mentions 800-1000 from minimum choke size. mentions 1200 bod in testing, mentions 1400 bod in testing.
W16AZ producing until storage filled then turned off, stored oil sold, well turned on again. So some kind of revenue added and therefore not still loss making as indicated earlier.

Why would they be waiting for a new drill pipe?
original strategy W38 would have been drilled and tested by now, and yet they state they are waiting?
if Block had kept to the old plans...would they still be waiting?

if i remember correctly the markets did not like iis parting with £12m to buy stock either...

i think its more like £250.

i,m struggling to understand why we would get an ops update without news on an acquisition.
OPS update is their plans for the next 12-18 mnths...PH has stated they are looking and to watch this space short term..
An ops update and then an acquisition would make the ops update obsolete.
So im thinking acquisition along with the update
OR, if we get an update without, then a long period before any acquisition.

The well was predicted to flow 325 bod and Block were apparently ok and planned for such an output...yet at 700 bod it causes a storage dilemma...PH states they were expecting 1000 bod but did not want to quote those figures to the market.
Just get the feeling theres another reason for the pause in production besides storage...probably the same reason we have not had flow figures and no ops update yet...
Block as i said a month ago are waiting on someone or something.
