If UJO % is sold on and the shs are awarded a one off divi, how would this be announced?
My feeling is this is likely to happen....
would there be a forewarning notification or would we just get a suspension RNS?

A large spread is there to stop volume...MMs make their money via volume?(why would they like a large spread....ok the % gain is higher but fewer trades)

How many times have we seen red days when their appeared to be more buys than sells and visa versa?...if only it was that simple!!

ok thanks for that something i have learned today...so the PRINTED spread is set by the LSE, MMs then have certain % guidelines to make a market,
one of their tricks is to drop the LIVE buy price below the printed mid therefore showing a sell. You could argue this is due to demand....or manipulation to entice sellers.
Agreed trades are posted to lse, not buys or sells...so why are the different colours used to indicate trades?
Simple its part of the MMs armoury to influence traders...

So i still say i am correct, MMS adjusting the spread to show buys as sells to influence selling.

Always happy to learn, will do a little research on that topic over the weekend. So the Mms are given the spread via LSE...
But they have certain % guidelines they can work within..

Dont become colour blind. MMs go to this trouble for a reason.

Hi just trying to understand how trades are printed. Usual transfer would have been shown close together,was wondering if they had gone to the lengths of splitting.
Still 2 buys...showing as buy and sell.
