OK I guess once this "outstanding bill" is clarified and staged payment is sorted out, the 57p has to be a basis for better things to come. In the meantime, hopefully there is also some progress on other aspects of the business. We still await the completion results of the latest well, obvious new drills are on stand-by until the present issues are sorted out.

I don't quite get your point - the placing showed confidence [perhaps misguided] However the contract situation is still "up in the air" and will most probably be resolved over time. Things move slowly forward.

Can you highlight any paid rampers and any examples of actual personal attacks, please? I would suggest the attacks come from the negative camp

I would be somewhat reticent in engaging criminal lawyers in the light of various comments on here - I would suggest, they would have a field day in the context of defamatory comment, and that would just be for starters. Focus on your other investments, for now - if you have any, if not, you are the sad individual.

Re:some recent derogatory remarks: I can sit on this one for as long as it takes to "come good" and it will. That is the difference between professional investment and class-room mentality. Diversify, not only in the market, but across the whole spectrum of opportunity. A note of encouragement - I have held shares that have taken longer to reap results I wish you the best.
