ASM swung to a pretax profit of £13.4 million - year ended June 30. [The company booked revenue of 39.5 million pounds compared with 8.0 million last time, below a range of six analysts' forecasts of between 42.68 million pounds and 45.00 million] However, Chief Executive Glyn Edwards said: 'This has been a remarkable year. The progress of ASA404 in lung cancer and the acquisition of Xanthus have given our pipeline a new scale and maturity, with two drugs in Phase III and one in registration with the FDA. We are now well placed to make the transition from a drug development company into a company that both develops and commercialises.” Still money to be made here???

PTI closed on Friday @ 48.25p and BTG closed @ 174.75p. T.O. @ 0.291 multiple per share = 50.7p. So still some upward potential.

I was just having a browse through the recent interim statement [yes, I must get out more!] The last sentence of the chairman’s statement seems encouraging: “I look forward to good news from both Caijiaying and the Company in the near future.”
