@fre1 you are right the institutional holders will be the ones holding the post for the best price they can get. They may even engage with other VCs as GS had a really bizarre in and out positions.
Lets trust them that they will do their best
@AmatraB I really don't understand your post why the deal may not happen but shared a link with the shareholding structure which is public knowledge for months
The only reasons when deals do not happen like in Sainsbury are the ones when the management believe that it could return better value than the offer. Dan is not in such position at all. He may be exhausted and he may want out also he is friends with clayton.
There is not a single shareholder who may don't want the deal done. The questions is only if the bidder would reach an agreement
Sainsbury, loss making was made an offer of 200mill for 2 mill customers, MTRO has about 2.3 mill
With this in mind would the offer be about 230 mill? Would it be net debt or 230mill - outstanding debt?
Does anyone know how much is the outstanding debt?
@ CleverThoughts you are so right it won't be paid a market fair value due to the accumulated losses in the last few years which will get the valuation down.
Looking even to these levels some people sold some significant positions.
We mat get lucky when Odday has to cover for its 2% shorts .
They may even try to pay all the major shareholders a mark up and some of them bought the shares very cheaply like around 1 Dan won't put any resistance on 2 neither the Columbian who bought at 1 do for them is 100%
One has to be realistic that the used credit line will significantly decrease the valuation
GLA
@latpulldown indeed intriguing why against the odds no one touched MTRO yet.
Does anyone know who funds the losses, the credit line and at which rate? I find it intriguing that no one took a new position even when it was two months ago 88. Sometimes VS's play a double game as investors and debt holders.
Does anyone know who provides the credit line ?

@Cyber - Your constant ridicule is toxic - this is what I posted on 15 Oct at 09.06 as reasoning to get out: "Cyberdoggy, maybe you should start to look to the patterns rather than only firing pointless sarcasms. Look to my posts as I raised a change of pattern a week ago higher volume with bizarre strong opposite forces. Unfortunately the one up had much lower volumes than the one down.
My personal interpretation was that someone wanted to offload a position without loosing the value too much (many of the 119/ 118 had only 1-3 shares) . I sold my position at a slight loss and I will be back in when 90. Liberum are level headed with a target of 89, if it will be a buy out offer it will be when down at its lowest and Odey significantly increased their position.
Cyberdoggy, I didn't make any conclusions in my posts just pointed to have a look to any change in dynamic, as it may help to form a view one way or another... It is sad to see that your only contribution for months is just meaningless sarcasm. GLA"
So NO I didn't covered "all the options" at all as you as usual bash all my posts. It will be worth to use your brain power to minimise the harm rather than attacking people on this board .

@Cyberdoggy You ridiculed me for months when I was trying to look to patterns especially when on the raise (please look to my posts then) I posted that it looks as a pump (several 1-10 shares bought high up) and high volume sell on the raise rather than a real take in. I also posted that the decrease in shorts is not due to optimism but due to decreasing scope of span of shorting.
Those patterns you sarcastically ridiculed me at the time helped me out at a marginal loss and I may get in when reached Liberum target and show a real not fake up trend.
Cyberdoggy I won't expect any apology your months of ridiculing my posts and spreading conspiracy that I am some of your "old enemies" under another name... It may be helpful in the future to look to people's posts with an open mind

@zccax77 I would not read too much into the decrease apart from lower the price gets smaller the scope is. So when it was 118 the volume scope of decrease was higher to 105 comparing to from 105 to 103. They managed to make 71 mill to cover for the loss of 47 mill and remaining green.
On the bas of the page there are all their movements with profit and losses

I can not believe that they behaved as rats fleeing the sinking ship
I am at a significant loss as everyone else HOWEVER have a look to the volume trading as well not only the price, it is a hedge fund technique to scare the long holders by selling very few shares with a large amount of transactions dragging the price down while holding the main position
Hold and do not react emotionally
@Theosus I don't mind people selling what they own if they are not happy for a stock BUT lending and selling assets they don't own is another matter. It is like selling your neighbours house.
At any point in time is it a double accounting issue as the owner keeps the balance sheet loaded while the shares are actually not with them.
It is selling assets they don't have I have the problem with. Escalating issues with a company could be done through investigation not sorting.
