Maybe wait for them to RNS its up, running and selling product before getting excited about our €32M EBITDA profits from that particular venture.

If they'd raised at a big discount and had given away a ton of warrants to boot then I'd agree with you and be cussing them but they didn't.

They seem to have seen an opportunity to pick up 800M odd barrels in Gabon-found some like minded investors willing to invest at next to no discount to the price and went for it.

The specifics of the two blocks were presented by the Deputy Director of Exploration, Romuald Pandi. The latter detailed them, saying that they are located in the offshore North sub-basin. Block CD2 covers 1839 km² and block CD3 covers 3492 km², with water depths of up to 1000 meters. These blocks have proven potential, with significant discoveries, such as the 445 million barrel oil field in place for CD2, and more than 351 million barrels for CD3. Historical exploration work dates back to the 1960s with several phases carried out by ELF, Shell and then Tullow oil, but recent data remain to be refined.

Commitments and prospects for national production For an eight-year exploration period, Pilgrim has committed to 2D seismic acquisitions and several exploration drilling operations. This program will be rolled out in three successive phases on the two blocks. Romuald Pandi also highlighted the recent dynamics in the sector with a resumption of contract signings since 2024 after several years of stoppage. This energy policy, supported by the Gabonese authorities, should accelerate production and attract new investment in the national oil industry.

The Gabenese need it apparently as their production has been dropping so looks good for permissions going forwards..

Gabon wants to restart oil production with Pilgrim Exploration Ltd

(BFI) – After the recent initialling with Gabon Oil Company (GOC), a new signing ceremony of the Production Exploitation and Sharing Contracts (CEPP) took place on October 28 in Libreville. Placed under the supervision of the Minister of Oil and Gas, Sosthène Nguema Nguema, it concerned the Ndjila blocks n° G4-269 ex CD2 and Mpari n°G4-270 ex CD3 between the Gabonese State and the company Pilgrim Exploration Limited.

The agreement was eagerly awaited. Especially since it is participating in the search for solutions to increase Gabonese oil production. Signed on October 29 between the Gabonese government via the Minister of Oil and Gas and the company Pilgrim Exploration Limited, it marks an important step to revive this oil production that has been declining for several years and strengthen collaboration between the government and the private sector.

At the time of the signing of the CEPP for the Ndjila (G4-269) and Mpari (G4-270) oil blocks, the Minister of Energy, Sosthène Nguema Nguema, stressed the crucial importance of this event in a difficult national context. "We have a situation of decline in our production and we dare to believe that today the signing of the CEPP will continue to revive, if not stabilise the dramatic situation of our production," he said.

He recalled that the oil sector contributes to 45% of Gabon's GDP, insisting on the need for all stakeholders to work with a "collective awareness". The first government official of the hydrocarbon sector also called for strict compliance with Gabonese laws and a strengthening of local content in the sector to avoid the abuses observed by some companies

He said that "this moment represents more than the simple formulation of a contract. I like it a lot. As posted by others no warrants- that alone is amazing for holders, never been treated that well before. Going for farming into area's with history of 3,300BOPD wells in big way (76% holdings).

Using the convertible route to buy in so they can prove the area up asap and deal with the Gabon's reg's as they progress and if they do look to have something worthwhile after their initial programme they'll likely bring the Chinese in to fund it for them.

Not bad potential added value for a £4.65M raise imo esp with the lack of any real discount to today's price so yes happy to stick my neck out and say I approve.

We already know there's positive deals going forward for BLOE. They've RNS'd them.

Re Zhenhua, not sure about them but China's getting very close to georgia economically. Has been for some time. EU hates it but they only want georgia as a 2nd front anyway so stuff them.

Get that there's a fertilizer shortage but these repoted they had issues with near bankrupt farmers due to low produce prices too so has that been addressed?

We launched a new marketing campaign for KP Fértil® during the review period, which generated a positive initial reaction. Unfortunately, this has not continued, and sales have subsequently been below expectations. As a result, the period under review has been disappointing and the Company forecasts no near-term respite to the difficult trading conditions.

Think holders would be better off it SF bought up GLND. Looking at the price action there they need a bit of support from somewhere.
