Whatever's spouted on this board, (I don't tend to look too much anymore) it seems many have their own agendas. I bought shares to make money like I did with all my other Aim shares o er the years. The fact is that about a third have gone bust, a third are 95%+ down and the other third are pretty horrific as well. AIM is not a place to put your money unless you like gambling and are happy that the odds are terrible. I'm hoping we come good here but judging on past performances I fear.
I don't post here often and don't tend to look here much as it's pretty much always like a school playground.
Now some of the posters on here seem to on it night and day. My question is-how many actually went to the AGM? E.g. below Daz is posting about the AGM and seems to be on here a lot so why didn't you go? I'm assuming a lot on here don't hold any shares or hold very few and are just trolling.
AIM is gambling but at far worse odds than at the bookies when you actually have some knowledge on the subject. I place a few bets on a few sports and probably break even over the year. Whereas on AIM, most the companies I've gambled on have gone bankrupt. Blatant lies from the people in charge and knowing they can get away with it is the problem. All whilst paying themselves huge sums of money. I've learnt the hard way and would strongly suggest people don't invest on things they know little about or even think they know about! :)
No-news - I’m afraid that if you decide to gamble on AIM then you have to be very prepared to lose it all. Trust me, I have. I haven’t bought any new shakes on AIM for a few years now but have seen my portfolio gradually decline. Currently about a fifth of what I put In overall so never again. I
The number of small investors that actually make money must be very small indeed.
Let’s hope AFC will be the one that changes it all. Good luck, :)
Is it just me that thinks his posts are really weird/cringey? Why are you SO much in love with a company that hasn’t proven anything, probably lost you money and potentially could lose you all your money? Very strange. As are the people who continuously bash this share even though they’re invested. I rarely look on here now as most of the stuff posted is just plain weird and borderline psycho! :)
It’s clear you have an agenda Garonne. I come on this board every now and then to see if there’s any news but you’re always spouting negative stuff. And you barely own any shares! Very weird.
Why the land that was acquired near Melksham has now been put up for sale? What were the plans for it and why have they changed? :)
Garrone you’ve literally said that this is one for the bottom draw. I agree. But I won’t be spending all my days posting random negative comments on this board. I don’t see any point in that at all. I’d be worried I have mental health problems if I did.
I’ve finally come to the conclusion that Garmoan is a very sad individual and needs to get a life. I understand being frustrated. Like I’ve said before, I’ve lost money on pretty much everything on AIM and is why I’ll never buy any more shares on AIM again. It’s a very easy way to lose money and you have to be very lucky to make money. I don’t sit on the internet trolling these companies though as I have better things to do. Did you say you’ve sold? Surely you don’t need to,post 20 times a day and can just leave now unless you’re either really sad or have an ulterior motive.
A bit too much I think there johnnyboy. If I’d have been buying loads over the past 2 years I’m not sure I’d be as excited as you. I’m hoping there’s a specific AFC related reason behind the rise but who knows!?
Good luck but I for one, aren’t getting too carried away.
