Nice recovery. Expect this to continue & go over 1000p easily possible by close of play today. Gas prices remain high, second oil train to come online shortly, ME situation resolving, Carlyle deal completing by Q1 end. Lots of positive news flow to come.

The 31st is the record date, the 30th is ex-dividend date. If you bought today, you will not get the Feb dividend & your contract note will specify ex-dividend.

It's the Energy Flex that has changed my view now on Podpoint as an investment. Just like to be able to quantify the value of that to the bottom line. May see this easily back above Directors' purchase price of 12.5p & then some.

Berenberg's update suggests a dividend of $1.40 or 35c/quarter for 2025. This equates to £1.12 or 28p/quarter, currently 30c or 24p/quarter. I'm assuming they have included the special in this forecast and relates to a yield of just under 12% for 2025 at 940p/share. I am still accumulating under 940p & wonder whether instead of one special + four quarterly dividends ENOG should just distribute the special with the quarterly dividends over the course of 2025.

If Energy Flex is gong to add to revenue streams then the market hasn't woken up to this RNS & there may be something in the forthcoming weekend papers. Sub 10p definitely looked oversold to me as punters threw in the towel at what might have been the bottom. Recent Director buys at 12.5p were also indicative of a change in fortune. I like the entry into Spain where the sun shines a bit more than gloomy old UK.

Not been a fan of PODP or EVs but maybe the tanker is finally turning around for this company. The Energy Flex Market could be the break they needed.

Still accumulating at these levels.

A bit overweight now but the improved ME situation does not warrant this SP destruction & I take broker forecasts with a large pinch of salt.

Except it will be one special dividend plus the quarterlies from the remaining commitment.

Bit of a blood bath on the markets this afternoon but added under 970p.

Seems like an enticing re-entry price so started accumulating again.

What I'd like to know is, will the SP drop by more than 80p - 85p once the special dividend is paid. In which case I might expect the SP to go under 900p.

The Carlyle Transaction delay is weighing on the SP imo. Now looking nearer end of Q1. Still uncertainty regarding future dividend.

Owning shares in an unlisted company is probably something that many on here are unfamiliar with. Personally, I hope the vote will be 'NO' to de-listing at the current price. However, should the vote be 'FOR' I shall stay on board for the ride & treat it as a learning experience. Nothing in life is free, including learning how to be a successful trader / investor.

There is nothing to stop one or more of the larger investors taking SDX private by making a reasonable offer for the company which imho is in excess of the current market cap of £700k. Crashing the share price by calling for a vote on de-listing is at best just not cricket. Don't be suckered into thinking de-listing is the only way SDX can raise additional funds. An equity raise between 1-2p would do the trick. Not much selling going on I see.

Should the vote be 'NO' for delisting, the board should put up the 'For Sale' sign & be sold to the highest bidder.
