Authorities already knows there's a shedload of gas at Ntorya. Unless it's gone up to 20TCF or something ridiculous, then they will have done the assumptions on at least 8TCF which was estimated by ARA as GIIP on the 2D seismic. Not sure how the gas can disappear. It's been drilled and proven to 3TCF. Next year is going to be fantastic for AEX, especially as the sp is so low.

Probably got the Minister and the AG asking what a cubic feet of gas is.. amongst all the other daft questions.

Trouble the Ministers have is if they are in some way obstructive then they risk losing investment. Therefore the country will stay as is and the Tanzanian voters get fed up and vote in a different government that can deliver. Sure the AG and Ministers can ask questions..but what expertise would they have when it comes to commercial agreements other than the legalities or the outcome..none I would say, hence the experts who have done the negotiating make the recommendation.

It would be career limiting for any Minister or AG to not carry out the policies of the government. Pretty simple.

Winalot. Anything that has been approved goes to the AG or Ministry as a recommendation for it to be signed. It's recommended. So if the AG or Minister has any queries they get clarification, but the recommendation is to sign, so there's no reason why a Minister or AG wouldn't..unless they want to do the negotiating on agreements themselves, which i doubt they would have the time or expertise.

Even if it's government policy?. Is that why the UK is in such a mess..the woke Whitehall blob getting in the way..?

With the cash Rockhopper receive they could put an offer in for BOR which even though rejected, would show the market that BOR is undervalued and interest in the Falklands is going to increase. Rockhopper could probably do a cash and shares offer if they really wanted BOR, as it's so cheap. Maybe with Navitas they could try and buy it and have all of the oil and gas for themselves and shut out other oil companies. The time to do it is before Sea Lion gets developed while BOR is cheap as chip paper. Must be tempting.
