Yes cookie, you may well be right there. Investors will want to be in when the news is announced.
PEA hopefully will result in the next re-rate and may give the majors the impetus to make their move.

John Meyer was an early speculator about the possibility of a consortium to buy out Cascabel /Solg. Initial purchase of Cornerstone would position the buyer(s) well for the bigger prize.
As SpAngel NOMAD he would have a good knowledge about Solg.

For his part, McKay, who is no longer with Cornerstone but is still a significant shareholder, believes another bid for Cornerstone is in the offing, possibly from Newcrest, which has signed two major joint venture agreements with Cornerstone this year.

McKay sees the deals as an indication that Newcrest is positioning itself for a bid by improving its relationship with Cornerstone. “If I had to make a bet, I would say that Newcrest is the front runner and it may be that Newcrest and BHP will do it as a partnership,” he says. “I think something will happen before the end of 2019. We’re hoping that another interested player comes in and starts a bidding war.”

It looks like objective 15 is from the translation of the Spanish article . Solg has referred to Porvenir "target 15" before.

For me its not if but when. A multibagger is on the cards from here; at least double highly likely, but a realistic opportunity to treble and indeed quadruple. IMHO.
