Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
Just trying to find out more info on this.
Artisan license has been approved to a Mr Chelwelwa covering an area we believe to be Star Zinc.

Mr Chelwelwa I believe was and may be still is Chapamo Mine Supervisor.
Chapamo Mineral Resources Ltd was formed as a legal entity originating from illegal artisan mining gangs.

Same article quotes Zambia Chamber of Mines encouraging Chapamo to form joint ventures with owners of unexploited assets

To provide a glimpse of the copper supply chain of tomorrow, MINING.COM and sister company MiningIntelligence compiled a list of the top 10 largest copper deposits currently under development and ranked them according to copper resources in the measured and indicated categories.
You’re right crewtime.
Some people seem to overlook Solg having discovered one of the biggest copper/gold/silver orebodies in the world. This is a rare, Tier 1 asset which many majors would relish owning. Despite the doom-mongering, it’s still there!

....... focusing on mining the high-grade core at the Alpala deposit – and drilling satellite targets to find additional resources closer to surface – will benefit shareholders over the long term
Looks like CB needs to clarify this once and for all.
Is Chelelwa working on behalf of Galileo?
If not how can he be artisan mining on the Star Zinc licence?
If he is, does that put a stop to Galileo’s small scale mining?

Tucked away in the half year report published on 29th January relating to the Group’s cash flow forecast:
“This basis presumes that funds will be available to finance future operations and that the realisation of assets and settlement of liabilities, contingent obligations and commitments will occur in the ordinary course of business.”
“realisation of assets” will be happening then!
Double, double toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron Bubble.
Ha ha - I prophesies three things:
1 Q’s prediction that this (Alpala) will go to production .......... but not by Solg.
2 Solg will be bought by BHP
3 The share price will exceed £1 within 12 moons
When shall we accrete again? In thunder, lightning, or in rain?
First infestor, “All hail, NM! Hail to thee, thane of Cascabel!”
Second infestor, “Lesser than BHP and greater.”
Third infestor, “Not so happy, yet much happier.”
All infestors, “By the drilling of Tier 1’s, something epic this way comes.”
Thanks for all of your debate and input on this everyone. I’m very happy now that all is in order and its full steam ahead this quarter with Star Zinc. The latest RNS could have been better worded and more detail given about this project.

“We’ve got Star Zinc to talk about in due course...”

CB in his interview on 26th January when promoting the Sandfire deal and emphasising how the market are substantially undervaluing GLR,
This one liner, only 3 days ago suggests Star Zinc is proceeding.
In his Chairman’s Report dated 24th December 2020, CB stated, “ We are currently finalising our plans to bring this project into production during the first quarter of 2021.”
I can’t imagine anything has happened in the following 36 day period to stop this, and if there has been, why no announcement? Though I am surprised today’s half yearly report has not emphasised the impending commencement of production.
Agree Tiger,
The basics of pre-sale due diligence include:
“Ensure all statutory registers and records are up to date and available
Ensure that your business is up to date with its tax affairs and its legal structure is transparent and the documents accurately reflect this
Ensure the shareholding position is clear and documented”
Maybe a sale is now very close?

...... and then there’s the copper and silver to add!
