RE: Petrofac Compensation28 Mar 2021 11:50
Sharefall, i appreciate the kind words. I always remain positive about the shares i've invested. I'm realistic however & the 15th March news was not good news for PFC. As you wlll have seen i have taken a lot of slurs & abuse on here & some gets rather personal. I give it back for sure but only when provoked. I welcome negative sentiment on any issue as long as it can be backed up by at least some evidence. Personally i have a whole lot of skin in this game & on paper i'm sitting on a loss which is probably more than all these derampers have invested in their entirety. Does it concern me. Absolutely not! I've been here before on other shares. It's all part of the contrarian investor rollercoaster. Everyone should be under no illusion that this share price could not fall further. It can & it may. The share is in the control of shorters & they can take the price wherever they want to. But they are not stupid so i don't believe it will go down much more but if it does I will be buying more tranches. Others may get nervous & sell. That is their choice & noone elses. For me despite all the SFO/ ADNOC & other issues the fundamental workings of this business are no different to what they were back in December when the SP hit 191. Sentiment is the only thing that has changed here, that is all. Sentiment can change back quickly too! This company's price /book ratio is currently one of the most bizarre i have ever seen. Undervaluing the company by almost 2 thirds of it's net assets. That is absurd. People should make their own decisions but i'll be staying put in here as i'm confident this will reap a great reward for those who can stand the volatility & uncertainty & just remain patient.
