Embarrassing
Especially when he was partly responsible for ars#ing this one up, in the first place. ;(
Spot on Nigel, otherwise we would have had a number of holding notifications, great sign of confidence going forward
Cheers Stokey, My question is simply. When was the last date, that members of board were able to purchase shares? If I get an answer, it go a long way in deciding my future here.
LOL Spud, my little black book has never been busier, over last couple of days
You drunk Razor?
Cheers Loosegoose, interesting that Saipem are supplying materials, all good going forward
I can remember a while back, JW talking about a possible working museum, following in the footsteps of Titanic. Looking at the numbers, it’s not such a bad idea. Titanic museums footfall is 830,000 a year at £19 for an adult.
Definitely one for the future .
Shipbuilding
As promised, the future for UK shipbuilding is looking much brighter. Not only will the National Shipbuilding strategy be refreshed and expanded to include the supply chain, but industry can expect involvement in the construction of 7 or 8 separate classes of ships and submarines in the next decade. The programme includes; 4 x Dreadnought SSBNs, 4 remaining Astute SSNs, 8 x Type 26 frigates, 5 x Type 31 frigates (and then Type 32 ) 1 x MROSS and up to 6 MRSS.
Overall shipbuilding investment will double over the life of this Parliament, rising to over £1.7bn a year. UK industry will also be involved in the construction of 4 fast attack craft for the Ukrainian navy.
Judging by some dummy sells this morning, I’m expecting this to rise 5 - 10% this afternoon. Leak or Hope? Who knows
Morning Loosegoose, I’m hoping UK government’s incentives, may be attractive to Triumph Marine, this is a cut and paste job from there own website.
“In line with the UK Government's target of having at least 40GW of installed wind capacity, once constructed, the WDVs will also fulfil project developers' obligations to incorporate as much local content as possible within their projects in order to be eligible for and monetise the various Government-led incentives; particularly in the wind farm and marine sectors. The WDVs are expected to be fabricated with local content from a UK supply chain and will be principally utilised for projects in all nations within the United Kingdom”
No worries Stokey, is that Blue I see? Hopefully that may have been a buy yesterday afternoon. GLA

I might add, hopefully it’s new blood, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s not Loose, Dawski or Nobby topping up! ;-)
It’s also reassuring to see our 50k buyer, still about.
