I hear what you are saying Spul, however they did go through a process of agreeing changes, which then have to be re-drawn, reviewed and signed off by both parties, then submitted for planning. These things always take a while to turn around. Architects and planners, in my experience, aint what you'd call the most dynamic / proactive of individuals or departments.

All buys this morning. Should be getting some planning news soon. Still haven't heard who the finance partner is mentioned in their last interview. Have asked them, but nothing back.

ARC gets a small mention in the shares mag mining supplement today. Basically DRC will be interesting to smaller operators and that ARC unveiled encouraging drill results in Jan 2018.
I reckon they'll do a bigger article next week after this news....one of many I expect

...when they come on Proactive etc should be very interesting with perhaps some stronger hints towards interested parties, whom if banging on the door before this news, will be bulldozing straight through the walls now...

I'd have thought that the presentation is in the main all about ensuring the right people with the access to finance or clients with the funds are fully aware of the potential for Zam, maybe even Casa. I agree, what better than to ride in on a wave of very positive news just prior to the event. Ducks in a row and all that.

I think that's a pretty good outcome to be honest, smallish beer in the great scheme of things but Andiamo is going nowhere for a long time so far better off chuck a few quid at something with real potential.

As has been said, Sturec, if they can pull it off, will be a significantly better prospect.

Do you know fulmar, I wondered that a little while ago. It may not be the complete package, in that a deal has been secured, but it may well be that they are in fairly advanced discussions with one or more interested parties. NvS has been bagging on about people knocking on his door. Now that would be useful....

that people appear to be selling when exploration results updates from CASA are imminent and judging by the company rhetoric, likely to be pretty positive.....ho hum

Getting some good drill results will obviously boost sentiment, but I guess translating those results into a JORC resource is really where the SP will be driven higher. Not sure how long that will take, don't know exactly what the JORC process is.
