Yes Clintek I agree. Well oversold on a very acceptable trading update which was very much as i had expected. I've just topped up and anticipate an uptick in the current SP.

AdamAnt I agree. I topped up but paid 71.45 obv not the bottom... well oversold IMHO. Financial journalists are wrong more often than not. Plus the whole market is being hammered today as most of this week. Gla

Agree. I'm hoping for a less persistent sell off generally today but I doubt the fear factor in the markets will subside near term.

The closing price today was 189.9 as LSE website.... it'll open higher tomorrow imo . Anything circa 190 to buy must surely be a good bet esp over a 12-18 month time frame. Gla

I'm comfortable with my holding albeit in the short term the global sell off could well continue with the obvious negative effect on share prices. Could be a very different market (much more bullish )within the next 12 months IMHO.

This is no time to rush for the exits.... lemmings come to mind! Lol

Herd panic again. I've seen it many times since my first trade over 50 years ago. Big Box and Shell together make up nearly 50% of my portfolio. I intend to hold both long term. I will decide next week whether to buy more Big Box which I consider has a bright future. Gla

I have been a lth here and topped up a short while ago as I consider the selling has been overdone. As for Amazon's statement. So what? The future is bright for big boxes and many firms are ready and eager to fill any void left by others IMHO. A decent forward looking trading statement issued. This is a solid well run Company. The sp has had a bashing no doubt as have most global stocks. It may go lower before moving north again. Note it was below 190 this time last year.... gla

A buying opportunity if sp falls below 220p imo. I'm a lth here and feel quite relaxed about my investment. As for the so called experts opinions.... well enough said.

I bought £6k worth early this morning. A good investment IMHO. The" icing on the cake" for me is that I get to receive a 8.8p per share divi on 8th June. Possibly many other buys today are a reflection of that as the reason to get in before ex dividend date on 21st April.
