seems very positive he has the backing of the lenders already, not looking worried about the final outcome at all, also laughs when prompted about the 8 billion dollars debt, replies I wish I had 8 billion dollars, nearer 4 billion or maybe a bit more, which to me suggests that Cine can take on extra debt with no problem going forward, time will tell, gla.
board and shareholders remain in control of the company, it also allows for Cine to walk away from expensive leases on properties that are not cash generative, meaning they can weed out the dead wood and become a leaner more cash positive company going forward, and this has no cost to Cine under a CVA agreement, the landlords will want to avoid this at all costs as they know that it is an option Cine can take so would likely be more accommodating to rent reductions or deferrals, the thing is that Cine going forward is a viable business as it always has been pre covid, and that is something that holds it in good stead, I would like to think that the lenders will give Mooky more support in light of the much improving landscape in the not too distant future with the rolling out of vaccines and studios releasing blockbusters throughout 2021, gla.
3, 4, 5, trades bought and sold, total trade values of £1, add dealing charges and these don't make any sense, is it the market manipulators keeping a lid on the price I wonder?
the stock at cinemas being the new releases, I can see others following Mookys lead, quite pointless remaining open with nothing new to show, particularly when it saves money being shuttered.
the only way any of these names will be on cinema frontage will be as a result of a buyout, Mooky has a lot of flesh in the game and is not going down without a fight, I say bring it on if the price is right, gla.
just added another 60000 shares to average down, high risk I know, I am already deep underwater here, final throw for me, gla.
are releasing a new song called 'Saturday night on my mums couch', doesn't have the same ring to it as 'at the movies' does it, cinema here to stay, gla.
on CNBC, certainly come across strongly and reassured that Cine isn't going anywhere, anytime soon, seems very confident in his actions and outcome, gla.
for a swift hostile takeover, Mooky has said all options are open, I guess he would welcome being relieved from the pain, as we all would, we will see what transpires, gla.
a lot less than it did on Friday.
another Moby, go to the cinema, really, which one? they are all closed you 'Tophat.
until April they will be dead and buried, 7 months with no income and a cash burn of 50 million a month won't cut it with the lenders, particularly when they have employed advisers on their behalf, it is now out of the idiot Mookys hands, he is going to have to do what he is told by these advisers, they certainly won't be taking any cheap talk from Mooky, he caused this with his irrational spendings, imagine where we would be if the Cineplex deal had progressed, total muppet who's now getting his strings pulled by the real owners of the mess, the lenders and bond holders, only saving grace is, he personally goes down with us.
schools and non essential businesses from Wednesday, so cinema was never going to reopen there any time soon, i can see AMC following Cines' lead and following suit, because until the main markets in the USA reopen, films will continue to be pulled, maybe this will turn out to be a good move by Mooky after all, i hope so, time will tell, gla.
but i fail to see why these temporary closures will worry the studios, after all, they have pulled all the blockbusters into next year, as things stand they have nothing to lose, a lot of the troubles can be put down to covid, but a lot also lay firmly at Mookys door, if he hadn't have increased the debts to the levels that they are now,we would be nowhere near the mess we see now, Mooky is a total disgrace, total moby.
i would be telling my children to start applying for jobs, because i was foolish enough to bite off more than i could chew with my mad spending sprees buying out regal and the likes, total moby, gla.
this just shows what a sadsack Mooky really is, this should never have got anywhere near the media first, an orderly RNS was the way to go, along with the reasoning behind it, we know that not having new releases to show will hurt, but looking at this do we really believe that Bond was the make or break of Cine or cinema in general? holding the studios to ransom is a risk in itself, they can always make money by releasing to pvod, Cine however will make nothing from closing their doors, like all businesses Cine must have its prime sites which carry along the not so good ones, shuttering the loss makers would make more sense, this has just given a big boost to the likes of AMC, less competition means more custom for them, the best thing that Mooky can do is to ask for a share suspension prior to tomorrows opening while he sorts out the plan for the way forward, gla.
I agree with you guitarman, Mooky certainly isn't the heart and soul of the party, very uninspiring in interview, shows no emotion, very one dimensional in a bad way, a very bad communicator, and he is all we have to protect our investments, not the best position to be in, we just got to ride this out now, que sera, gla.
was supposed to bring some calm to cinema, it didn't, the loss of Bond this year is disappointing but looking at the muted response from Tenet release, no big loss, just gives the market less ammo to further punish cinema in the event of low
footfall in respect of Bond, 2021 looking like a golden year for cinema for those that survive, smaller chains succumbing will equate to more patrons for the survivors, I am sure Mooky will hammer this home to the banks, gla.
yet TLW drops 3% from a very low level already on no news, at this rate what will be left here come CMD, makes you wonder why the sale is taking so long, the lenders will want to see progress made on the asset sales before redetermination of the RBL, seems a very long time ago now since the calming words of Rahul, the market soon forgets, particularly when radio silence has again been resumed at TLW, total shambles, gla.
think we can add you to that list Dacorum, you are full of it.
