I wasn't saying it was a problem, just merely asking why take your stake over 5% one day only to reduce it the next,as welcome as the sp rise is, it is still a long way down the tubes from only a couple of months ago,good to see some of the directors buying, gives us a little confidence going forward,GLA.

seems they have been offloading a few,breached the 5% threshold on 21/03/2018,why?

Vec only do spectacular one way,and that is spectacular falls,how can an already beaten down stock like this lose nearly a sixth of its market cap in one day,and this after the year end results which are now history,hard to imagine that only yesterday these were changing hands for over 83p,at what point and price will a suitor emerge for this?maybe never,the market see�s fit to hammer this time after time,GLA,we are in need of it unfortunately.

7 year low,great job management,they should all get their P45,s,the sp is now finding resistance at 70p,pathetic.

I agree,the imaginary support in the low 70,s has been busted,the market certainly don�t like what they see here,a takeover bid of 90p would seem generous just now,the book stops with the CEO,what a complete shambles this has turned out to be.

pity the sp didn't get good support in the low 90's or even 80's,the slide here in the last couple of months has been double quick with no response from VEC,i do hope for a takeover bid in the near future, without one this is going to remain in the doldrums for some time to come.

the conference call must be going down like a lead balloon,almost 10% down on the day,shorters having a great day again,60's coming here for sure, the BOD have a lot to answer for here, very poor at best.

not even that article can lend support to the SP today, the market seem to have got it right over the outcome of the dispute over Advair,cant help thinking it wasn't with the aid of a few loose lips, lets hope we do attract a bid some time soon.

whats more disconcerting is the drop back to 70p in double quick time on no news, vague rumours of a takeover brought the pump and dump brigade to the table, how many pi's have been caught out here and are now locked in?the markets are for those in the know, pure manipulation, what do the FCA do about these events?nothing,we don't stand a chance.

another fine performance on no news at all, just don't get why certain people try and make a good case out of this, the market is a leading indicator, and judging by the falls we have seen here, they do not like what they see,GLA,i have a feeling we are all going to need it.

management have done a marvellous job here haven't they, trading at 5 and a half year low and content with watching it sink without a word,doesnt seem right.

all yesterdays gains undone, seems like the bears have this atm,i just cannot see the justification in the share buyback, all it has done is lower the sp and market cap considerably,all we can hope for is a takeover approach, the trouble being now is an offer of �1 would look generous, pathetic really.

they are saying that the ordinary shares in issue are the ones that are to be bought back and cancelled,they are merely stating the number of ordinary shares in issue on the announcement of the buyback, the only way all the shares would be cancelled would be by Vectura delisting from the stock market and taking the company private, and that would require shareholder vote, it is unusual for the sp to drop the way it has with Vectura on a buyback scheme, it is more usual for the sp to increase with the reduced shares in issue, it seems to have backfired on management, and now leaves Vectura a sitting duck to a takeover approach which would likely be far less than what it is worth.

market cap now down to 480 million with the reduced shares in circulation,relegation from FTSE 250 a near certainty now,what does the market know that we don't?not getting the nod from the FDA over Advair is a setback, but this drop isn't warranted in my opinion, how low will management let this go before they issue some sort of calming statement?if they are in a position to do that of course,the market is punishing this big time with no response from management,GLA.

last traded at these levels in June 2012,makes no sense, you would have thought the buy back programme would have been seen as a positive by the market, no ryhme or reason,GLA.

this is getting cheaper by the day with each block of shares bought back being cancelled, coupled with the low SP you would like to think VEC is on someones radar, we will have wait and see, we the PI's will be the last to find out,at least speculating gives us something to concentrate our minds on,GLA.
